Story
This is Sgt. Tibbs- he is the sweetest male cat and we love him dearly. He is a very chill dude and he loves to snuggle and be around people. He is 6 years old and litter box trained. He is an indoor only kitty. The only reason we are looking to re-home him is because he does not like to be around other animal. We got another cat a couple years ago and after that he started marking in the house. We need a loving home with no other pets present. Our kids are devastated that we have to do this- they love him so much. So we are looking for someone or a family that will give him lots of love and affection, and that has no other animals in the house.

Story
This kitty showed up in our yard ~10 days ago, got into yowling contests with our feral male Siamese named Simon. We did not want another feral but thought Simon might like company; however, within the past few days the stray has become very aggressive toward Simon and chased him away. I moved the stray into our 3-season room with a radiator, so he/she (gender unknown) has been warm and has eaten all food provided (very hungry), but our house is tiny; Simon still sees the stray and only stays long enough to grab some food. The stray is otherwise friendly, walked into the house and does not mind being picked up/held, likes belly rubs, etc. and purrs quite a bit. Seems very much like a former indoor cat that either wandered off or was dumped. I took to the vets to scan for a chip (negative) but otherwise have not had any health checks done and again gender is unknown. Seems like a good potential only cat, or maybe with other cats (seems to like our pup too) in the right situation.

Story
I marked Unknown for Good with cats because Paddington gets along well with our male tabby (in one of the photos), but she attacks our shy tortoiseshell. We tried to get them to at least tolerate each other (Feliway, calming powder, scent transfer, etc.), but the problem has actually gotten worse. She found our yard as a tiny kitten, maybe 6-8 weeks old, last summer (2024); we had two feral cats and she started eating their food. We caught her and took her in; and as noted in the description is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. She enjoys pets, cuddling, and being held/carried - plus playing with my shoelaces - and can play hard w/our male tabby and our terrier puppy (though the puppy chases her quite a bit) - but everything changes whenever Paddington sees our tortie. We think she would be ideal as an only cat, or maybe in a house with a confident, playful male and/or a dog. We hate to lose her, but she is in a large multi-level kennel much of the day and is not fair to her.

Story
I am trying to re-home my kitty Milo, because he is not happy with my other cats. Milo is harness trained and loves to take walks like a dog. Milo was found as a stray. He is a 3-year-old orange tiger tabby. Milo is neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, tested for FeLV and FIV (negative). He has a microchip. He has had all his shots for the year. Milo would be better and happier with someone who doesn't have other cats. Dogs should be okay. Milo is a very friendly kitty and very social and energetic. He would be great with a pet parent that is adventurous and active. He loves people, cuddles, playing with toys, and taking walks. He does not like being alone, car rides, or being in a carrier or being confined.

Story
We have had Kilo for 6 years. We got him at Petland when my kids were ages 5 and 2. He was always pretty avoidant of the kids and occasionally attacked my 2 year old. I worked on getting him a safe place to nest inside the house away from the kids which helped a lot. He also became very obsessed with getting outside and now loves being and indoor outdoor kitty. He comes in and out freely, I see him many times throughout the day and keep him indoors most nights. Occasionally in the warmer months he insists on sleeping on the porch. I am now 35 weeks pregnant with our third child and something about the pregnancy has triggered his aggression towards the kids (who are now 10 and 7) to be much worse. He is not aggressive at all with the adults in the house and frequently greets people walking down our sidewalk to the park, people stop often to pet him. I’m thinking he might be less stressed in a child free home and want the best for him. I hope someone out there would love an orange tabby.

Story
Meet the beautiful Britannia! She has been patiently waiting for her purrfect new home for a while now. Britannia was brought in with a litter of four kittens, all four of which have been adopted. She had a bad upper respiratory infection that took prolonged care and medication. But thanks to that, Britannia is feeling much better and is brighter and happier! Even from her first being here, Britannia has always been very sweet and attention seeking. She loves to have her head pet and scratched the most. She'll let you know when she wants more attention; if you stop petting her, she'll reach her paw out and guide your hand back to her! Britannia's favorite toys are the ones shaped like mice. She could bat and chase them around for hours! Not only does she enjoy the company of humans, but she also feels the same about other cats. Britannia has been seen hanging out with a couple other feline friends in the room, playing with a couple of them too. On nice and sunny days, Britannia likes to spend a lot of time outside on our enclosed catio to soak up some sunshine. Come by the Humane Society to meet Britannia!
