Story
We originally rescued Levi in Montana. He is extremely playful and was a great first pet for us when it was just my wife and I. After we rescued another cat and have 2 children, he has gotten more aggressive with our other cat. I don’t believe our home is the right fit for him anymore and we just want to find him a healthy, safe and happy home.

Story
Juno is a 9 month old goofy, sweet girl. Her favorite things include belly rubs, a comfy blanket to suckle on, and chest laying on her favorite humans. Juno would do best as the only pet in the home with no children. She is on a specialized prescribed diet (HA) due to food allergies.

Story
Tucker is a 3 year old male who I’ve been fostering for a couple months now. After taking some time to warm up to me he has become very sweet. He likes to lay on my chest and sleep on the couch while I watch TV. He’s mostly pretty chill. I have other cats in the house and he gets along with them well! My parents dog has been over and he didn’t mind but also wasn’t thrilled, he mostly just left him alone. I don’t know if I would recommend a home with children since Tucker can get overstimulated easily. He is a very sweet boy and has been fun to have around. I would really like to find him a home soon so I can take in more fosters during kitten season.

Story
This is Minx, she’s about 5 years old. She’s been an indoor cat since I found her as a newborn kitten. She’s very independent and usually prefers being left alone to do her own thing throughout the day but she’s very loving. She’s also protective. It takes her time to get use to people but she doesn’t usually attack people or anything like that. She is a bit of a diva. She’s litter trained and low maintenance. I just need to know that she’ll go to someone who will truly love her and have patience for her. I don’t want her to be abandoned outside.. she likes being on her own so there’s no need to get a second fur friend to keep her company but if you happen to do so anyway, it’ll just take her some time to get to know them. I’d say it’ll take a couple to a few months. She’s lived with 4 different cats at some point, it really just takes patience. Shes never been pregnant. She does not spray.

Story
We rescued William after he was dumped in our neighborhood and attacked by a neighbors dog about 4 years ago. He is a very friendly and affectionate cat that needs to be an only pet. This is a requirement as he has recently become more regressive with our cats. He has all claws and can be an escape artist from time to time. He becomes very upset if he sees a cat outdoors.

Story
Meet the big and beautiful Holt! After originally being rescued from a hoarding situation and then getting adopted from us back in 2020, Holt's owner unfortunately passed away, and she ended up back at the shelter four years later in 2024. After spending 6 long months here, Holt had a second chance at a forever home and was readopted in December of 2024. Unfortunately, just over a year after she made it to her new home, her new owner ended up in an assisted living facility and devastatingly had to leave Holt behind. So that's how Holt ended up at the shelter again. We are sure that she'll be able to open up her heart to another family one more time so she can live out the rest of her golden years. She definitely deserves it! Holt is a couch potato. She spends most of her days sleeping, curled up in a nice and cushiony cat bed. She would enjoy having one or two to sleep on in her new home...But we think that YOUR bed would soon become her favorite! Her previous owner's family expressed that all she loved to do everyday was lay next to and sleep with her favorite person. She prefers head and ear scratches rather than back scratches. Even though Holt is a bit lazy... We have seen her playing with a ball track toy that spins, as well as a fun dangling wand toy. She still has some youthful energy left in her yet! Another thing that Holt loves: FOOD! She gets excited and starts meowing for her tasty food and lickable treat snacks. Holt likes her solidarity away from other cats as well as dogs. We think the best type of home for her would be one where she is the only pet. Come by the Humane Society to meet sweet old lady Holt!

Story
This is Guinness, and he's extremely goofy. Guinness can keep you entertained for hours with his antics. He has so much energy! He spends most of his days playing. There's rarely ever a time where he isn't running around the room or chasing a toy. He was a friendly stray street cat before coming to the shelter, so he hasn't been taught that human hands are NOT acceptable toys, so be wary of your fingers! Being redirected with a wand toy should help teach him about these manners. It takes him a bit to fully accept an unfamiliar feline friend, but once he does, they'll become his wrestling playmate. Guinness seems to get along better with younger cats, as they're easier to wrestle and more likely to play with him. Having an equally energetic feline friend in the house would be great for Guinness, that way he has someone to match his vibes. Guinness carries himself with confidence, his tail and head always held up high. He isn't very phased by new things, in fact he's more curious about them than anything. Come by the Humane Society to meet Guinness!

Story
This is Billy Jr. At 16 years old, he is currently our oldest cat here at the shelter. He's looking for his new home where he can simply relax, get plenty of love, and live out the rest of his golden years in peace. Billy Jr's previous owners moved to a place where they couldn't bring their lifelong feline friend with them, so that's how he ended up here at the shelter. Despite being 16, Billy Jr is in relatively good health. He is eating Hills Science Diet Kidney Care food to help stabilize his condition. He does have cataracts too, so he isn't able to see as well as he could have before. He doesn't play much these days, but he does like to stroll around the room and explore as means of exercise. He seems curious about new things and people. Billy Jr is a very sweet and kind senior kitty. He likes chin scratches and sitting on people's laps for snuggles. If you have it in your heart to give a senior cat a home, please come by the Humane Society to meet our darling Billy Jr!
