Story
I took this girl in on a freezing night a month or so back and I haven’t had the heart to re-release her . I’d love to keep her it’s just not realistic because I have 4 other cats. She’s loves to play and absolutely loves human affection. This is really hard for me because I fell for her. But she deserves somewhere she can run and play . I live in a small apartment with other people and animals.

Story
Millie is 4 almost 5. She is a very shy cat and likes to hide away and come out to see you on her time. She is very cuddly and loves to play. You can find her curled up with one of the dogs most of the time. When she plays she does play bite it scares people that she is going to hurt them. She never has. She loves to steal shiny things and collect them in her hiding spots her favorite are rings and jewelry. She is very sweet and fun and funny to watch. We are sad to rehome such a sweet cat. When we move we are not allowed to cats

Story
Elegant Elope! This playful and silly cat (DOB 4/2024) is searching for a forever home. She loves playing with other cats and would do best in a home with another cat. She can be shy when first meeting new people but warms up quickly. She is living in a foster home with other cats and has been exposed to dogs. With proper introductions she could learn to enjoy their company. She is spayed, micro-chipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, vaccinated, and wormed. Her adoption fee is just $70 dollars. To adopt her, or any of our LCPC cats/kittens, email pitcrewapplication@gmail.com.

Story
As a very small kitten on Christmas Eve he was scratching at our door. We brought him in and got him in to the vet to get neutered. He’s a really good cat but we have two older cats that he does not get along with. He wants to play and that just doesn’t happen as much as he needs.

Story
🧀💚😽 The Sweetest Soul Needs a Hero! 🧀🧡😸 Meet Queso: Queso is a handsome, super-chill ginger boy who was unfortunately abandoned after testing positive for FIV. Despite his rough "street life," he is a total cuddle-bug who is dying for human touch and a warm bed. Personality: Super laid-back, "soulful" vibe, loves people. Age: unknown Health: FIV (needs an indoor-only home), currently has a healing scratch near his eye. Intact (needs neutering). Location: Toledo/Ohio (North Towne area) The Situation: Currently living under a porch. He tries to run inside to be with humans, but the current finder has dogs that aren't cat-friendly. Queso is counting on someone to see his pics and give him the safe, indoor life he deserves. Can you be his "furever" person? His previous owner accidentally let him outside, unnuetered, which lead to deep scratch injury that caused him to be FIV and she banished the him from living inside . He is perfectly healthy and can live long life!

Story
Meet Kat! This sweet male cat loves people. He loves affection and sleeping near people, but at times he is also independent. He is very smart, friendly and sensitive. He would do best as an only cat, but with time could do ok with another cat who wants to play and chase. He could do well with a dog if the dog is friendly and playful.

Story
Maggie was living in a wood pile, but was taken in when she had 4 adorable kittens. She is now looking for an inside home as she is not feral and is very well behaved. She is sweet and beautiful! She is currently recovering from taking care of her babies, having ear mites and being generally underweight and stressed living outside. She's ready for the good life. Are you the person she's been waiting for? She is a tabby with just a touch of torbie - orange patches on her back and paw mixed with gorgeous tiger stripes. Her son is Magnolia and she has 3 daughters - they are not fixed yet - one tiger with orange on her paw like her Mom. One tabico (tabby + calico) and one black kitten. Maggie tested positive for FIV. She is our first cat to test positive. Even with FIV, she can still live a long and healthy life. She will need to be an indoor cat and fed a healthy diet to keep her immune system strong. Caring for an FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) positive cat primarily requires strict indoor living to prevent the spread of the virus and shield their compromised immune system from outside pathogens. How to care for an FIV cat: - Regular vet check-ups - Provide a safe, stable indoor environment - Minimize environmental stress, which can suppress the immune system. - Provide a stable routine, comfortable resting areas, and regular playtime. - Feed a nutritionally complete and well-balanced diet to maintain optimal health and weight. - No Raw Diets because FIV+ cats have a weakened immune system, they are highly susceptible to severe food-borne bacteria and parasites. Can an FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) Cat Safely Live with Other Cats? Yes. Because the virus is primarily transmitted through deep, penetrating bite wounds, it rarely spreads during peaceful cohabitation or casual grooming. Follow these key steps to ensure a safe, multi-cat household: - Ensure all cats are spayed/neutered. - Perform slow introductions: Do not rush. Use scent-swapping and gradual visual contact before allowing your new cat to roam the house freely. - Maintain a stable environment: Keep your cats indoors to prevent them from engaging in territorial fights with neighborhood animals. Ensure there are plenty of resources (food bowls, litter boxes, and vertical perches) so the cats never feel the need to compete. - Monitor personalities: The biggest risk is a serious, blood-drawing fight. If your existing cats are known to be aggressive or highly reactive, introducing a new cat may not be the best fit.
