Story
Meet Lissa — the Queen. This confident, vocal, sweetness-in-fur thrives on cozy naps, treats, and keeping her kingdom in order. She’s an easygoing girl who enjoys quiet strolls around the house and the occasional step outside. Lissa coexists well with calm cats (she lives now with two others) and respectful dogs, but prefers her space. (She’ll politely hiss if needed.) She’s litter-trained, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines. Recently losing her beloved owner who passed away, Lissa needs a patient, cat-savvy home where she can decompress and settle into her new throne. If you appreciate a graceful, older kitty with a regal aura, Lissa may be your perfect match.

Story
Tammany is a gentle, food-motivated cat who makes his needs known, especially when it comes to mealtime or treats. When he isn’t seeking snacks, he’s a dedicated napper with a calm presence and occasional interest in brief outdoor exploration. He has a chronic issue with one eye that causes persistent tearing; while it affects his appearance, it doesn’t diminish his affectionate nature. He has responded to intermittent eye-drop treatments and will need an adopter who can continue that care. Tammany is litter-box trained and is now looking for a new home because his lifelong owner passed away, leaving him without the person and the dog he lived with for many years. He will need time and a quiet environment to adjust. His experience with children is unknown, as his previous owner was a retiree. With an experienced, patient pet owner who can offer individual attention and support, Tammany has the potential to settle comfortably into a new, stable home.

Story
Thea is an affectionate cat when she seeks attention. Once she warms up to you she is friendly even when you give her wet food especially tuna! 🍣 She does have a bit of a sassy but she is most likely a cat that she likes to be alone/will seek attention. She has been indoors and kitty litter trained. She has been with dogs that don’t bother her. She doesn’t like energetic dogs.

Story
Kevin is still very young. Three months ago the technician at the Humane Society thought he was a she. He started coming around my back patio. I left food out for him and he soon became very affectionate. I have not brought him into my house as I already have 5 indoor cats. A new cat would cause my cats too mark. This cat is very sweet. A little feisty sometimes as he gets playful. Like a young boy, he wants to rough house. He will make someone a very nice pet as he likes to be held and even falls asleep on one’s lap. He is a little nervous with strangers and needs time to trust and to warm up towards a new person. He needs to be fixed and his rabies shot. I have dewormed him and given him the flea and tick ointment on the back of his neck and mite killing ear drops. I would like to find a new home for him asap as winter is coming.
