Story
Hi! Meet Wells, a 6 year old male orange tabby cat. I got him as a 10 week old kitten during the COVID pandemic when I was a single woman working from home. Now, I have a husband and two children, whom he is reluctant to be around. They trigger his anxiety and antisocial tendencies. He takes kitty prozac which has helped a lot, but he is still not living his best life. He would prefer a quiet home with females or adults only. He loves cuddling, long naps in the sun, and the occasional treat of tuna juice. He has no known health problems other than his anxiety, and I believe that in a quieter environment, he would thrive!

Story
Oliver is a cat with a strong personality and a quiet presence. He’s not the type to demand constant attention or be overly affectionate, but he’s been a steady companion through years of life’s ups and downs. He prefers to do things on his own terms and values his space, making him a good match for someone who understands and respects independent cats. He is fully litter trained and low-maintenance day-to-day. Oliver tends to keep to himself and does best in a calm environment where he isn’t overwhelmed. Oliver is **not a fan of aggressive dogs** and would not be safe in a home with one. However, he has shown he can coexist with calmer, well-behaved dogs that respect boundaries. He would likely do best as the only pet or in a home with animals that are gentle and non-confrontational. Because of his personality, Oliver would thrive with an experienced cat owner who appreciates a more reserved companion rather than a highly social

Story
Lila is an almost 6 year old tabby cat that I got when I first graduated college and was living alone. Now that I have two kiddos, I’m not interested in being a pet owner at the moment. Lila is a very typical cat. She takes a decent bit to warm up to people and she pretty much only likes my husband and me. She is by no means a “mean” cat but she is more skittish and avoidant of new people. That being said, once she warms up to you she is SO loyal and sweet. She is gentle with my toddler and doesn’t have her front claws so she won’t hurt anyone. She has been around a few dogs and is definitely on edge but would probably assimilate with time. I would recommend her for someone who is an experienced cat owner, isn’t intimidated by her demeanor, or someone who is single/alone and can give her lots of attention.

Story
This sweet little girl showed up in our backyard one day—starving, filthy, and desperately seeking love. She’s incredibly affectionate, with no fear of strangers, and she melts into your arms the moment you pick her up. She craves pets and attention, constantly trying to slip inside the house with us. She doesn’t bother my indoor cats at all; she just wants to be part of a family. I’m concerned she may be deaf or may not be able to hear properly. The shelter spayed her, tipped her ear, and asked me to release her back outside. But every time I look at her big, trusting eyes and feel her purring against my chest, it breaks my heart. She clearly wants to be an indoor cat—safe, warm, and loved—not surviving alone in the heat that’s coming. My own boy cat is very territorial, so I can’t keep her here. If anyone has a loving home and a soft spot for a gentle, cuddly girl who just wants to be someone’s baby… please reach out. She deserves so much better than a life on the streets.

Story
My husband rescued Waldo from a tree when he was 10 weeks old. We’ve kept him since then but allergies have been an ongoing problem for my husband and kids. He is the sweetest cat and very good with our big dog and with our kids. He’s very playful but also loves to lay in your lap and have his belly rubbed. He is about 9 months old now. Will turn 1 in July! Looking to rehome soon due to allergies. We have a self cleaning/automatic litter box that would come with him.

Story
“Ralph” is the most independent out of his brothers. He loves to play with cats of all ages! Just because Ralph is independent, do not let that fool you into thinking he is not affectionate or cuddly. When Ralph wants cuddles, he finds a shoulder and rubs all over your head purring as loud as possible! Ralph would do best with a playmate, or even better, one of his brothers!

Story
Rowan is pure personality from the moment he wakes up. He’s energetic, talkative, and smart as can be. The kind of cat who wants to know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and whether he can help. He loves mental challenges and needs room to stretch his legs, both physically and mentally. If there’s action happening, Rowan wants to be in the middle of it. Think Tigger energy, but in a sleek little feline body. He’s playful in the best way. He enjoys puzzle games, especially when he gets to “teach” his younger girl cousins how it’s done. With his boy cousins, it’s all about chase and friendly wrestling. He has ten younger cousins and plays happily with both males and females. He still gets along well with his mom and his aunties, too. He’s social, confident, and very connected to his family group. Born on St. Patrick’s Day, 3-17-25, behind the headboard in the main bedroom, Rowan was the second born and the first surviving kitten to a nervous semi-feral teen mom. From the beginning, he’s been resilient and full of life. He was adopted once, but returned within 24 hours for being “too energetic” and too talkative. The truth is, Rowan isn’t too much. He just needs the right match. He thrives on attention, engagement, and interaction. He wants people who will play with him, talk back to him, offer puzzle toys, and appreciate a cat with opinions. He is a cuddler, but on his terms. When he chooses you, he really chooses you. He loves being near his people and his cat family, and he would do best in a home that can give him the time, stimulation, and affection he craves. Rowan is not a background cat. He’s a main-character cat. For the right home, he will be an incredible, entertaining, deeply loving companion.

Story
Meet Aria – The Sweetest, Most Resilient Girl! Aria has been through so much, but you’d never guess it by how much love she has to give! This 4-5-year-old sweetheart was brought in near death, struggling to breathe. X-rays revealed a rare and serious condition—a tear in her diaphragm had caused her organs to shift into the wrong places. But thanks to an incredible team of doctors, she underwent surgery and made an amazing recovery! Aria is not a “special needs” cat in the usual sense—she doesn’t require medication or extra care, but she does have a unique way of breathing due to her past condition. She may have a long life ahead of her, or a shorter one, but right now, she is thriving with a great quality of life! Originally from a horse ranch where she lived as an outdoor stray, Aria absolutely adores people and craves love. She’s the kind of cat who will lean into your touch, seek out affection, and capture your heart instantly. Everyone who meets her falls in love! Aria would make an amazing companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a unique story and a big heart. She’s not “hospice,” she’s just special—and she deserves a home that will cherish her for as long as she has. Are you ready to give this incredibly sweet, resilient girl the forever home she deserves? Apply to adopt Aria today!
