Story
Benny came to us at age 5 months where we adopted him from a shelter. He is currently 8 years old. He has grown up with all of our kids and one other cat and has always been an indoor boy (although he loves going out on the porch with accompaniment to roll in the sun). He is a happy, healthy orange tabby boy with a Garfield like personality- he loves routine, his food bowl, LOTS of lap or bed snuggling, wet and dry food, and stalking birds and squirrels through the window. He is not declawed but is very good to use his scratching post. His purr is EPIC! He does have some anxiety issues that we think might be left over from his traumatic kitten days before adoption- he doesn’t like loud sounds and is frightened by young children. He’s never been around dogs. Benny would probably do best in a home where people are often around that love kitty snuggles and can give him steady, predictable routines. We are moving to Japan as missionaries and cannot take him overseas.

Story
Oliver is a cat with a strong personality and a quiet presence. He’s not the type to demand constant attention or be overly affectionate, but he’s been a steady companion through years of life’s ups and downs. He prefers to do things on his own terms and values his space, making him a good match for someone who understands and respects independent cats. He is fully litter trained and low-maintenance day-to-day. Oliver tends to keep to himself and does best in a calm environment where he isn’t overwhelmed. Oliver is **not a fan of aggressive dogs** and would not be safe in a home with one. However, he has shown he can coexist with calmer, well-behaved dogs that respect boundaries. He would likely do best as the only pet or in a home with animals that are gentle and non-confrontational. Because of his personality, Oliver would thrive with an experienced cat owner who appreciates a more reserved companion rather than a highly social

Story
Honey is a sweet girl but doesn't do well with children. She may be better with them once she is around them more often. My grandchildren don't get to come over much but when they do she is not happy about it. It is just me and her for about 99% of the time so children kind of freak her out. I believe it's due to lack of exposure. Honey is about 8 months old. She loves her toys and is super excited about a laser light (you can have all of her supplies, food, and toys that I have). She is very lovable and enjoys being close to you.

Story
Lila is an almost 6 year old tabby cat that I got when I first graduated college and was living alone. Now that I have two kiddos, I’m not interested in being a pet owner at the moment. Lila is a very typical cat. She takes a decent bit to warm up to people and she pretty much only likes my husband and me. She is by no means a “mean” cat but she is more skittish and avoidant of new people. That being said, once she warms up to you she is SO loyal and sweet. She is gentle with my toddler and doesn’t have her front claws so she won’t hurt anyone. She has been around a few dogs and is definitely on edge but would probably assimilate with time. I would recommend her for someone who is an experienced cat owner, isn’t intimidated by her demeanor, or someone who is single/alone and can give her lots of attention.

Sissy is mostly an indoor cat. She loves to lay on your lap while watching tv. She’s awesome with kids, very sweet. My Dad recently passed and I’ll be traveling a lot. I’m trying to find a good loving home for Siasy!
