Meet Wanda IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WANDA, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Wanda was a young teenage kitten when we trapped her in a feral colony in Bethel Park. We had a cat experienced foster home willing to take her in as a foster and get her used to domestic life. It took months, but now she loves the indoors, and loves human affection and attention. She follows her foster mom, Emilie, around the house, “yelling” at her, and demanding pets and butt scratches. She also gets along well with the resident cats and dog, and you can often find her hanging out with the dog!

This is Truffles, a one-year old girl who has the sweetest disposition. She was a stray that was trapped, but was way too nice to be put back outside. She is very affectionate and will jump right into your lap. She has no interest in toys, at least not yet. Truffles is also afraid of other cats, so she would prefer to be an only child.

That means I am comfortable with you. I love affection and crave belly rubs the most. My absolute favorite place to be is on the cat tree. Kate has quite a story. In 2015, Kate was part of an at-risk feral colony. She and five others were humanely trapped. They were hissy, lunged and wanted nothing to do with humans. In time, however, each found loving, forever homes. Kate was the last to tame. But 2018, she was adopted. While her home was loving, it wasn't forever. The woman who adopted her developed health issues. In 2022, Katie was back at the shelter. It's been five years since Katie's shelter days. She has gained some weight but still has her very expressive, big, round eyes. Now she likes to be petted for short periods of time. She'll even gives head bumps! She always liked other cats and still does. Her favorite things are eating, playing laser light and looking out the window. We can't guarantee that Katie will ever be a lap cat, but we can promise she'll be a great companion and appreciate every day in her forever home. In 2015, we promised that group of feral cats that we would find them loving, forever homes. Please help us keep that promise to Katie! Maybe you're the one who can make Katie's wish come true! Diamond (5/18/22) was flown to Pet Search from St Thomas on the February 2024 transport. This little girl was living in the cat house at the shelter and was so afraid of everything. We chose her to fly to Pet Search to give her a chance to find a forever home. It took a little while for her to come out of her shell and enjoy being petted, but she now enjoys getting love. She can still be a little frightened of fast movements but has gone such a long way in a years time. Diamond is felv/fuv negative, vaccinated and spayed.
