Firstly, I have LOVED my time with Ginger! She was surrendered to me at one-years-old by her former owner because they had gotten a new puppy that Miss Ginger was not too pleased with one bit. Sadly, this trend continued when I rescued a special-needs cat off of the streets, and this new kitty proved to be a huge source of anxiety and agitation for Ginger. I feel an obligation to her to make sure she lives the best, most pampered life possible because on her own, she truly is the most gentle princess in the whole wide world; however, I also have an obligation to my new kitty who wouldn’t survive at all without specialized support… I will miss Ginger with my entire heart, and this has been in-no-way an easy decision to re-home her. My hope is that whoever adopts her will take the absolute best care of her and send me the occasional picture or update on her!

We received Tommy in 2020. His b/d is 3/17/20 He is a mostly outdoor cat especially when it is warm outside . He goes in and out in the winter. We love him very much and definitely do not want to get rid of him. He has lived his perfect cat life here with us for over 6 years. The issue is a neighbor who is an elderly lady who likes to work in her yard. Tommy scratched her once and now she understandably does not want him in her yard. That’s the “behavioral “ issue that I listed. We have tried medication and keep him inside but it makes him sleep all day and it is stress for him and us. He likes it outside. He is a good mouser and can be very loving. The neighbor will not try to shoo him away and does not care if we have to put him to sleep. Reluctantly, I made an appointment for that tomorrow . I just found this site. We are heartbroken and can’t stand the thought of having him put to sleep for just being a cat. If you can give him a good home , please contact me.

We are looking for a loving, safe, and permanent home for our cat. Unfortunately, due to changes in our family’s living arrangements, we have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
