Story
We got Mars when he was 6 months from the Nashville Humane Society. He has been with me and mt daughter for two years. He is an inside cat. Has only been outside on my patio. He is lovable and a joy to have. We are moving and are unable to bring our baby with us. While this is very hard on us, we want him in a warm cozy home. He is up to date on all shots but one.

Story
Meet Drax — a shy‑at‑first, snuggly‑at‑heart cat (about 4–5 years). We adopted him from Nashville Cat Rescue in 2021 and are heartbroken to rehome him due to an international move. In a calm, patient home he blossoms: quiet companion vibes, gentle purrs, and he’ll curl up beside you once he trusts you. Ideal home: predictable routine, slow introductions, and a “safe room” to start. Soft voices, wand toys, and cozy hideouts help him settle. Give him time and he’ll be your couch buddy. We can send him with his favorite blanket, crate, and a starter supply of his current food to help him settle. If you’re kind, patient, and want a loyal shadow, Drax will reward you with love.

Story
My name is Harry! Harry is an 8 year old, social, and active cat that loves to snuggle and to look at birds from a window! He is very chill and would love to watch a movie with you anytime! He loves people and is not afraid to tell you that! He does great with kids, other cats, and dogs. He is neutered, house trained, and up to date on vaccines. He would prefer to live with his cat brother, Gus, but it is not required. Gus is shown in the last picture. Harry (and Gus) live with us in Nashville, and with a baby on the way, we feel it would be best to find them a new home. We love the cats so much but we could really use more space and being a soon to be mom who is physically disabled, I need a more clear path at our home to avoid tripping and other hazards while holding the baby. We aren’t asking for an adoption fee because Harry and Gus are such wonderful cats and deserve to have a safe, lovable home!

Story
My name is Gus! Gus is an 8 year old, curious, and handsome cat that loves to watch nature from the window and he plays fetch with hair ties and rubber bands! He is neutered, house trained, and up to date on vaccines. He likes to hide and sleep most of the day, but sometimes cuddles during a movie night! He is shy (and may hiss) at first, but when he gets to know you, he does great with other cats, dogs, and kids! He would prefer to live with his cat brother, Harry, but it is not required. Harry is shown in the last picture. Gus (and Harry) live with us in Nashville, and with a baby on the way, we feel it would be best to find them a new home. We love them so much but we could really use more space in the home, and being a soon to be mom who is physically disabled, I need a more clear path in our house to avoid tripping and other hazards while holding the baby. There is no adoption fee - Gus and Harry are amazing cats and we want to make sure that they will find a safe, lovable home!

Story
Urgently needing a new home before December 12th. Timothy is a truly special cat with the sweetest personality. He’s playful, independent, and loves having his own cozy space, but he’ll happily come over for affection when he feels like it. Being around him is simply a joy.I love Timothy very much, which makes this decision incredibly difficult. I’m moving and can no longer give him the stable home he deserves. I’m hoping to find a loving, patient owner or family who will cherish him the way I do.If you’re looking for a gentle, playful companion who brings warmth and brightness into any home, Timothy is the perfect match. He deserves a forever home filled with love.

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Miss Nellie Mae is so beautiful! In a former life, Nellie M. was a model for a leading modeling agency, specializing in swimwear! Nellie M. is quiet and reserved. She loves to observe the world around her and respond when something piques her curiosity. Like her sister Roadie, her upbringing was rough, somewhere in Laredo. She has blossomed into a beautiful blue-eyed white girl who is friendly and is becoming more and more sweet as she gets used to her new life as a cherished foster. Don't you think she would be a wonderful (and beautiful) addition to your family?
