Story
Koa is a lover! He is around 6 years old with much life left in him. We originally received him from my sister only because my little nieces became too much for him. So ideally, he would be in a home with no young kids and if possible, a work from home lifestyle as he loves to be around you at all times. He has always loved being around other cats but we do believe it is best for his health that he remains a single cat in his new home. We will greatly miss Koa and we are in hopes that his new family will love him well!

Story
Oliver is a chill dude. He is chatty and likes to talk to you. He will snuggle but also enjoys finding a nook to curl up in, such as laundry baskets, closets, cupboards, etc. He is a chunky boy, close to 20 pounds. He was a street kitten who jumped into my car on a cold winter day seven years ago. He steals everyone's heart with his charm. He's brave and likes to explore; he enjoys access to the outdoors if possible. He gets along with most other animals and humans. He's a real gem of a cat. He would do well in most environments.

Story
Felix is a sweet little dude, a forever kitten. He is charming and loves to play with hair ties, milk carton tabs, and other bits of debris; he will "sneak up on them" and pounce. He has been known to play fetch. He is very chatty and has a wide range of vocalizations. He's quite a jumper and likes to get up on tall cabinets. He doesn't like to be picked up but is snuggly and affectionate on his own terms. He likes to sleep with a human and sit in their lap, but doesn't want to be carried around. He is 9 years old and in good health. He was raised with dogs and cats and gets along with them, although he prefers to be by himself at times.

Story
Meet Moochie – An Orange & White Gentleman with a Playful Spirit  Moochie is a handsome 5-year-old shorthair orange and white tabby with a personality as warm as his sunny coat. His journey hasn’t been the easiest—he was found outside of an assisted living home by a kind lady who cared for him but, sadly, couldn’t keep him. Now Moochie is safe in foster care and ready to find the forever family he deserves. Don’t let his age fool you—Moochie is still a busy, active boy with plenty of spunk. One of his favorite pastimes is “bird TV.” He’ll happily perch by the window for hours, chattering and pawing at the glass as he tries to catch his feathered friends outside. He also enjoys playing with the other cats and even gets along with the dogs in his foster home, showing that he’s a social guy who likes being part of the household. While Moochie isn’t a big fan of being held, he more than makes up for it with his sweet nature and affection in other ways. He’s a friendly boy who loves kisses and enjoys being close on his own terms. He’s the type of cat who will bring comfort and companionship without being overly demanding—a wonderful balance for someone who appreciates both independence and affection in a feline friend. Moochie is also fully litter box trained and well-mannered, making him an easy addition to the right home. He’s playful, curious, and loving in his own special way—a loyal companion who will brighten your days with his gentle presence and silly antics. If you’re looking for a cat with personality, charm, and a big heart, Moochie is waiting to meet you. Story
Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
