Tabby kittens & cats in Sparta, Tennessee

Little Chip was discovered on my back porch yesterday morning (12Jul26). He is about six (6) months old. Malnourished, but eating constantly. It looks like he might have feline herpes or an injury to his eye (see photos) and he also has a booger nose. He was very skittish, but trusted me enough let me pet him within 2 hours, and oh boy does this little guy love!! I will pay for his antibiotics for his respiratory issues, his first round of shots, and his neutering. His first appt (shots, testing, treatment, neuter prep appt) is tomorrow (14Jul26) @ 10:15a. 😌I feed and care for seven cats that people have dumped in or around our neighborhood. Instead of getting them fixed they dump them here to breed!! I’m stuck here... I’m a disabled veteran living on a fixed income… I just can’t do another cat - 12 is too many and more than enough. And I have a sick boy indoors that is a daily medicated handful!! I’m not Saint Gertrude here folks… please help a sister out. 🙏
