Story
Meet Hera, a sweet, funny, lovable little queen who’s amazing with dogs, gentle with kids, and fully house-trained. She comes with her tree house, cute bag pack, crate, window bed, all her toys and automatic litter box, loves her chicken treats, and melts into cuddles like she was made for them. Hera is soft, calm, and full of heart, the kind of cat who quietly becomes your favorite part of the day. She’s looking for a home that needs a little extra love, and she’s ready to give it back tenfold.

Story
Meet Jetson 🖤 Jetson is a 6-year-old affectionate boy with the loudest, best purr. He’s social, playful, and loves being near his people. He is large. Because of his size & playful energy, he can sometimes surprise little ones, but he has been good around babies and kids. Last year Jetson experienced a rare cardiac incident and has recovered beautifully. His October & February echocardiograms showed a healthy heart. He takes an anticoagulant once daily and a diuretic every other day and does well with both. We’re working to wean him off his diuretic in the next two weeks. His food intake must be monitored, as he will overeat if allowed. After being attacked by another cat in the home, he is now fearful of other cats and needs to be the only pet. He loves the outdoors, but not around neighborhood cats. Jetson would thrive in a calm, pet-free home where he can receive lots of affection, attention, and space to explore. He’s a loyal, loving companion ready for his next chapter.

Story
I've had Simon for 9 years and I really love him. I picked him up off the streets when he was a tiny kitten and we've been together since then. I dont want to rehome him but I think it would be better for him in the long run. With my current living situation he is super stressed out. He does not get alone with other cats but he does like dogs. Since he's been stressed so much he will probably take a little bit for him to warm up but he really loves being loved and giving love. He loves to cuddle at night and just hang out wherever you are. He is a middle aged old man. He is not up to date on his rabies shots because he is strictly inside only. Strings are his favorite toy. He likes to be held like a baby too.

Story
We ”adopted” our son’s cat, Rosie, after he started travel nursing, and unfortunately my husband’s allergies are only getting worse. He also retired last year and we have started traveling a lot, which she is having a hard time with. We need to re-home her and wanted to start in the neighborhood. We do not believe she will do well with other cats, and does okay with non aggressive dogs that don’t chase (ours is very mellow). She is ten years old, very sweet and just had a full check up/labs and has no health issues.

Story
Merlin is a sweet and beautiful 3 yr. old who more likely will prefer to be an indoor kitty. I know this because although he loves to go out in the mornings and run for a few minutes, he comes back inside, and although there is a pet door he can use, hardly goes out and only for a few minutes. He is very sweet and loves to be touched, held, and talked to. I do know he can get along with other cats because he tries very hard to play with my very aggressive kitty who has NEVER like other cats and every time, he approaches her she attacks him, but he just lies down or walks away from her. I do not know about or dogs because I do not have a dog. I would prefer that you live in a home or if it is an apartment, a large one because he is very large (not fat, just very large size) young, and very active and if he does not have space to run, he will be very sad. The only reason I am looking for a new home for Merlin is because he is 3 yrs. old, and I am 80.

Story
A pair from the same colony, White Feet was too friendly to release – she kept trying to get into people’s cars. Brewer was not released due to bad weather and construction at the site. Brewer is timid and needs support, which White Feet provides. She loves on him, washes, and cuddles him. Both like to be petted & scratched but need work on being picked up. They will be great companions for someone patient with them. Brewer tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is neutered, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Brewer & White Feet seek a home together. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if they are a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you to complete the adoption.
