Story
Cheeto was abandoned by her original owner. My daughter agreed to pet sit for her neighbor while he worked on resolving some legal issues. The owner never returned. My daughter has been hospitalized a few times and can no longer care for Cheeto. I am the sole caregiver to my Mom, I’m away from home 12-16 hours away from home and I cannot able to take on a pet. I have been helping my daughter give Cheeto VERY basic care (food, water, litter box cleaning). Due to our various ongoing human medical conditions, and caregiving responsibilities Cheeto does not get the love and physical attention she desperately needs. No petting, no cuddles. 😢 We do not want to take her to a shelter, so I’m really hoping to quickly place her in a foster home or a forever home that will show her the genuine love and care she needs and deserves.

Story
This is a very difficult decision for us. Our orange cat was born on April 22, 2022. He is neutered and has a very gentle, sweet personality. He has never bitten or scratched and is truly a well-behaved, affectionate cat. My husband and I love him very much. After we had a baby, he started to feel stressed and became jealous, which led to inappropriate urination around the house. We’ve tried our best, but the situation has become too difficult for us to manage long-term. We believe he would do best in a quiet home without other pets, where he can receive more attention and feel secure again. This is not his fault, and letting him go breaks our hearts. We truly hope to find someone who can love him, understand him, and give him a stable, caring home.

Story
Cheeto is a super sweet and active cat. He is 1.5 years old. He was a feral kitten living at my aunt’s assisted living facility in New Orleans when my sister rescued him and brought him to us. We thought he would be a great companion for our other cat. Turns out they do not get a long at all. He is very sweet and cuddly and likes to play. He gets along well with our dog and our kids. We are looking for a new home for him with someone that is able to spend more time with him and where he could be an only cat.

Story
I need a family to love. I grew up in a home with many other cats but we were put outside when the home was repossessed. I’m friendly and get along well with other cats. I’m cautious but tolerant of the dog in my foster home as long as he is nice to me. I’m just glad to be back indoors with regular food again. I’d like to eat all the time, but you’d better measure my meals as I don’t know when to stop eating. Zora tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is spayed, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if she is a good fit for your home. You can meet her at our adoption events from 2:30-5 pm most Saturdays at the College Station PetSmart on University (back by the cat litter).
