Story
We brought Basil into our house when she showed up pregnant and crying at the door. She was instantly at home and seems to be very young. Basil is very affectionate and we've seen her with some neighborhood children and she was very patient with them. She loves to play and has been a great mother to her babies. We've seen her fetch, hunt bugs, and play with any ball that you will throw. She has never caused us any problems and really just wants to spend time around people.

Story
Barkley is a very sweet and loveable cat. She loves to look out the window and bark at all the birds and squirrels she sees. We rescued/acquired her and her foster friend in 2017 who were brought to Austin after Hurricane Harvey. The ideal home would probably be a home with no other pets or children with someone who can be home and hang out with her throughout the day. Or at least home at night for a few snuggles! She can be shy to strangers but once she warms up to you she is a lovebug.

Story
Ruby is a sweet and loyal cat. She is 6 years old. Ruby is a very attached cat so once she gets comfortable with you, she is going to follow you everywhere. She has some anxiety so she never runs away from home. She loves to sun bathe and can sleep through heavy metal music. Ruby doesn’t get along with other cats very well, she likes to be your one and only nonetheless she has never been an aggressive cat. Ruby’s a chill and laid back cat and she makes a great companion.

Story
Adopted when he was a kitty, pepper has grown into the sweetest chillest cat who just wants scratchies and snuggles! He’ll definitely want to be your shadow and always greet you when you get home. He is super sweet and loves to play with hair elastics and toys! He is a loving part of our family but unfortunately needs to be rehomed as where we are moving pets aren’t allowed.

Story
Loki is a rescued feral kitten, born under the maintenance shed at my apt complex, now close to a year old. She has needs she won't compromise on. She is a wild animal and must have unlimited access to the outdoors. She wants to be an only child. She needs a family that is not allergic to her (as I turned out to be). She was "raised" by my service pug and doesn't fear dogs as she should. All of her veterinary needs have been maintained, and she has been trained TO WALK ON A LEASH. The extendable kind anyway. She is spayed, chipped and vaxxed. Very independent and only so- so cuddly but she's a proud and vicious hunter, favoring birds as her prey (nest bound hatchlings anyway). Not good for a family with prey animals as pets but such a good mouser.

Story
I found this cutie sheltering under my porch/walkway in late Feb/early March. Took a few weeks to gain her trust with food and patience, until I was able to bring her indoors to keep her safe. I have been fostering and caring for her ever since. I have done an exhaustive search for an owner but no one has come forward. I believe she was abandoned. She's been examined by vets, they report she is in good health although a bit undersized probably due to poor diet while living on the streets as a kitten; she is approx 6 months old. She's very affectionate, energetic, playful and loves to cuddle. She's not been around any other cats or dogs so I can't speak on her reaction to other animals. She warms up humans after a little trust is gained...food bribes and play time always works! She behaves well inside the house.
