Story
We originally found Zeppelin as a kitten on the side of the road during a rain storm in Mississippi. We tried to bring him to a shelter but learned that they would likely euthanize him. We then made the decision to adopt him. Since then he has lived with us in Georgia, Colorado, and Texas. He is about 8 years old now and has always been an indoors cat with access to balconies at times. He has lived in apartments his whole life. We hope to find a new and loving home for Zeppelin with space for him to lounge around. He loves to sunbathe in windows on sunny days and loves to nap on couches and chairs. He is a relaxed cat and loves to sit next to you and sometimes in your lap when you are resting.

Story
Miso is an AWESOME cat! I am only looking for a new loving home for him because my fiance has bad allergies and we are moving out of state into a smaller home. He is a social butterfly, so I am sure he will fit right in wherever he goes! Miso is 3 years old and such a GOOD boy. He is very smart and listens well. He loves to play with his toys, play fetch, snuggle under blankets, catnap in the sun, and explore our fenced in backyard. He is very social and comfortable around other cats and dogs (has lived with both) and good with babies/kids). His defining character trait is he LOVES to be held and will snuggle up to your neck and purr - it’s the sweetest. 🥹 Miso will be happiest in a home with someone who loves his daily hugs and is home regularly. He is used to having people or companions around, but does well on his own when needed. We have a nice automatic food dispenser and water fountain for him as well. 🐱

Story
Fish is one of 5 adorable kittens. She just turned 8 weeks old and is ready to find her forever home! She’s full of energy and loves to play with her sisters, Robin & Raya, but she also has a sweet, gentle side too. Fish can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s unstoppable — curious, playful, and full of personality. She’s litter trained, healthy, and ready to bring lots of love and fun to her new family. Adopters must be willing to get her vaccinations up to date. Fish would thrive in a home where she’ll get plenty of affection and playtime (bonus points if there’s already another friendly kitty waiting to be her new best friend!). 💛

Story
Merlin is a sweet and beautiful 3 yr. old who more likely will prefer to be an indoor kitty. I know this because although he loves to go out in the mornings and run for a few minutes, he comes back inside, and although there is a pet door he can use, hardly goes out and only for a few minutes. He is very sweet and loves to be touched, held, and talked to. I do know he can get along with other cats because he tries very hard to play with my very aggressive kitty who has NEVER like other cats and every time, he approaches her she attacks him, but he just lies down or walks away from her. I do not know about or dogs because I do not have a dog. I would prefer that you live in a home or if it is an apartment, a large one because he is very large (not fat, just very large size) young, and very active and if he does not have space to run, he will be very sad. The only reason I am looking for a new home for Merlin is because he is 3 yrs. old, and I am almost 80.

Story
Muenster is currently in a foster home, and not housed at the BCAS building, please place an application to show interest and give us your contact information to move forward. Muenster’s story begins when he was found with his litter underweight and malnourished and brought into the BCAS. He was quickly sent to foster to recover and grow in a safe loving environment. Now that we are bigger, we are ready to move onto his next chapter. Muenster is all white with stunning blue eyes, having this unusual double recessive trait. Due to being double recessive occasionally these animals may have some health issues and sensory issues. Although, he appears to be completely healthy and doesn’t have hearing or vision issues (beyond typical feline selective hearing) it is something to be aware of for his future care. Additionally, due to his light coloration, some caution should be taken as white cats can be more prone to sunburn on their ears if they are in direct sunlight for too long. More than just a pretty face, Muenster is a good, sweet boy but a more quiet personality, especially compared to his orange siblings. He has LOUD happy purrs and enjoys good pets. He loves attention, but so far isn’t as much of a cuddler preferring to be on his own feet, which does make the occasional cuddle that much more special. He is very curious and typically is the first of his litter to check out something new. He doesn’t appear to have any particular toy preference and seems to chase and play with everything, however, most frequently treats and interacts with his siblings as toys- stalking and pouncing on an unsuspecting litter mate. With that in mind I feel he would be happiest with another young feline companion.

Story
Colby Colby is currently in a foster home, and not housed at the BCAS building, please place an application to show interest and give us your contact information to move forward. Colby’s story begins when he was found with his litter underweight and malnourished and brought into the BCAS. He was quickly sent to foster to recover and grow in a safe loving environment. Now that we are bigger, we are ready to move onto his next chapter. Colby is a short haired tabby boy with absolutely no white. While he is the largest of the litter, he appears to be an average sized boy and will likely not be a huge cat when all grown up. Colby is a sweet, well-rounded boy, but, as he does have a case of the orange, he’s not the brightest but that’s all part of his charm. He gives himself 100% to whatever he is doing: provides loud enthusiastic purrs with good cuddles, actively climbing into your lap, but then being busy, playful and active. He is fairly gentle with his feet and isn’t overly rough when playing. For Colby everything is a toy- a box, randomly dropped slip of paper, his own tail, his sibling’s tail, the ball tower, a box, and anything else that he can chase. Due to his orange clueless mischief and active personality he would do best with another young feline to help focus his energy and keep him out of (as much) trouble.
