Gigi is a very playful and curious cat! I adopted her at the Austin animal shelter back in October of 2023, making her about 2 years old. She loves to roam around and see what’s going on. She loves to sit by the window and watch people and the little birdies come and go. I have taken her outside in my arms a couple of time but she is definitely a house cat. I do think Gigi would be down for leash training if you interested in doing that with her. She also has classic orange cat behavior but she is very entertaining. She is also very sweet and loves head and back scratches, however, she will let you know when she is not the mood. The ideal person that would love Gigi is a person who loves to play and interact as well as give her space/place where she can climb. She is very active and loves to be on the move before passing out on the couch.

We originally found Zeppelin as a kitten on the side of the road during a rain storm in Mississippi. We tried to bring him to a shelter but learned that they would likely euthanize him. We then made the decision to adopt him. Since then he has lived with us in Georgia, Colorado, and Texas. He is about 8 years old now and has always been an indoors cat with access to balconies at times. He has lived in apartments his whole life. We hope to find a new and loving home for Zeppelin with space for him to lounge around. He loves to sunbathe in windows on sunny days and loves to nap on couches and chairs. He is a relaxed cat and loves to sit next to you and sometimes in your lap when you are resting.

Sabrina is a very special kitty that has been showing up at my apartment for the past ~2 months. It took a few weeks for her to warm up to me, but now she demands pets and scritches every morning when I come out to feed her. She likes to sit on my windowsill and "hang out" with my cats and likes to play with my calico through the window. Though my cats like her, I live in an apartment and have no space to isolate her in case she has feline leukemia or worms. My vet is happy to see her, but I fear that she may not come back if I take her to the vet only to release her back outside. Though she is ear-tipped, I have my suspicions that she is not truly a stray and was abandoned by previous owners (not uncommon for apartments). I am asking for a rehoming fee as I am giving her revolution plus while she is outside and will crate her and can bring her to you. I would like to meet with prospective owners either over video chat or in person to ensure she is going to a good home.

Do you work overnights as a nurse? Do you stay late as a teacher? That’s fine with me! I like chilling under the bed most of the day, but in the morning and evening I LOVE tummy rubs! Let’s eat icecream and fall asleep on the couch after work. I am a big boy with a shy demeanor. Right now I live with 2 kids and 2 other cats and they bother me! I don’t really like tall guys either, so a short queen would be best for me! Let’s turn your quiet and calm house into our home!
