Story
Booker is a special girl and just needs somewhere she can feel safe. She is good with the animals and everyone in our home. Unfortunately she has felt unsafe for quite some time and has been spraying the apartment. She is constantly looking out the patio door and windows for threats to her environment. I just want her to find a peaceful place to land. She's incredibly sweet and loves a soft, blanketed lap. I am hoping the right person finds her. It breaks my heart more to know how stressed she is here than it would to part with her.

Story
Conway Kitty is a true ode to old country. He grew up listening to Conway Twitty and singing “Hello Darlin” to all the ladies in the house. Conway is a 2 year old who loves to play and cuddle. If you want to take a nap, he’s your guy. Want to get the zoomies at 10 pm and play with a laser, absolutely. He is a spunky, friendly cat who needs people who can give him all the attention he deserves. He’s grown up with dogs, small children and another male cat. He has become stressed with our newest addition, our daughter, and has decided to start marking her things. Conway does go outside with our dogs to use the restroom and hunt. I typically let him out in the morning and at night so that he can get some good outside time. I think he would do really well with a catio or someone that’s comfortable having an indoor/outdoor cat.

Story
We've had Millie for about a year and a half. We adopted her from the East Lake Cat Care Center in Dallas several weeks after she was born. One of our kids has recently been diagnosed with a cat allergy. We've tried everything, but their symptoms haven't improved enough for us to keep her safely in the home. This is not a decision we've made lightly, and we want to make sure Millie goes a loving home. A bit about her: spayed, up-to-date on all shots/vaccinations, microchipped, litter-trained, good with kids/other pets (after an acclimation period), no known medical conditions, currently taking regular preventative heartworm medication. She can be a little slow to warm up to new environments, but once she's had time to adjust, she's very loving and affectionate. She's an expert fly catcher and isn't afraid to speak her mind. And she most certainly will let you know when it's feeding time.

Story
This pet came from a small Irving animal shelter! Nora is 2 years old and is a large cat with bursts of energy! She spends most of her time lazing around and looking out the window, she is an independent cat that keeps to herself. She needs to be rehoused as some of the residents of the home she currently resides in is unfortunately allergic to cats.

Story
My mom needs to move to an assisted living facility and they will not allow pets. We would take ChiChi but we have too many pets already. She’s so sweet and loving. She is a lap cat who loves pets and chilling. My mom adopted her after she had a litter of kittens. She has been spayed and well taken care of. She had crystals in her urine so is supposed to take a urinary tract food.

Story
Peanut was found by a pool when he was around 2 weeks old. He was bottle fed and has been with me since the beginning. He has however become very aggressive with kids and I can no longer care for him. When he’s in a good mood he is a very good cat, but he does not do good with dogs nor kids. Peanut is cordial with my big dogs but he will chase and attack smaller dogs so just be aware. He would thrive with his loud personality in a kid and dog free environment. He is about 10 months old and is still in his trouble maker stage. He absolutely loves catnip, and would never pass up a meal. He is very playful and will enjoy any toys given to him, just play on his terms because if he’s not in the mood he will let you know real quick.

Story
Sugar is a sweet cat but lonely & needs a family that will give her time & attention that we cannot. We took her when her family moved out of state & we aren’t in a position to be there for her. She lives outside on our porch presently, however with her original family she lived inside & outside.. I don’t think she’s its litter box trained because she was in & out.

Story
The only thing Bowie likes better than sitting in a box is getting pets from you while he is in the box. He appeared in our front yard after a rainstorm at the foot of an old tree. He was meowing weakly as if he had be calling out all night long. I put him in a box and covered him with a towel. Since that day he has never been apart from us. Now I have to move and I am not able to take him with me. I will miss him. He is very laid back. He can be very affectionate. He is not aggressive. He only wrecks cardboard boxes. Two years old. His meow is still weak. He has never been much trouble. Only has accidents in the house when I am slow to change the litter box. He follows me from room to room. He is occasionally begs for attention without being overly clingy. He will let me lay him on his back and cradle him in my arms to rub his belly and chin. If he was a dog he would definitely be a "good boy".
