I saved Ozzie from the recent 2026 TX ice storm. He was living in a trash compactor next to my apartment. I NEED him to go to a good home ASAP. I’ve had 2 wellness visits and dewormed 2x and FVRCP and Rabies vax both given. He has no fleas and treated twice. He is LOVING he is in desperate longing for someone to love him close. I can’t. I could only rescue and foster for 3 weeks while looking for home. He went from extremely terrified to a cuddle bug in 2 days of living in my only bathroom. He rubs all over you once he trusts you and is neutered and I’m glad I was able to save him from a terrible death but I CANNOT keep him. I’ve been trying to rehome for much longer than anticipated.. I am on a fixed income and disabled and I cannot keep him any longer. I have volunteered for FFAR 300+hrs in the past so I just want him to go to a No Kill Shelter but more importantly a home. He is wanting a human companion and maybe a slow intro to another cat if necessary. I’ll give free supplies.

She was the most shy of the group and it took her the longest to become comfortable around people. She is about 2 years old. She is talkative at times, especially when she knows her human is opening the wet food. She LOVES wet food. She gets along with all the other cats in the household and would do best in a house with other cats. She likes to be in the middle of everything all the time. She sleeps in front of the fireplace or on the ottoman near her human’s feet. She is not quite a lap cat yet, although she is getting there. With the right household we think she will grow into her own. His owner had more cats than their apartment allowed and was going to throw him outside. Luckily, a nice lady stepped up to save him and hold on to him until we could get him. Whew! Wonton can be goofy and gets the Zoomies frequently. He loves all toys too. He loves being petted. He does well with other kitties – in fact, he and Toby were saved by the same lady! We’re not sure how he is with dogs or children. He can get overstimulated with being pet so he is probably better with older kids. He loves his food too – especially wet food.
