Tigger comes with an enclosed litter box, bowls, and mats—everything he needs to settle in. He’s currently looking for a new forever home, but may have to go to a shelter if we can’t find one soon. Story
Petunia is a sweet, gentle cat we adopted in 2020 with her sister. In 2021, she escaped and lived in a neighbor’s yard for nearly a year. When we brought her home in 2022, we had adopted two more cats, and unfortunately, they never accepted her. They bully her, block her from food and the litter box, and often chase or attack her. The stress from this, combined with the trauma of being feral for so long, has led to behavioral issues, including inconsistent litter box use. We have tried many approaches to help her adjust, but we no longer have the time or resources to give her what she needs. It breaks our hearts, but we know it is not fair to keep her in a home where she is constantly fearful. Petunia deserves a quiet, loving home, ideally as the only cat or with slow introductions to calm pets. With patience and care, we believe she can thrive again. If you can offer her a peaceful home, please contact us. We are happy to support the transition.

Story
Icarus is 6 months old and very playful. He hasn’t fully learned his name yet so feel free to change it as he’s still really young. He’s an orange cat & fully lives up to the silly behavior they have a reputation for. He loves chasing after toys, and is known for taking care of a few house flies. He enjoys cuddling once he’s warmed up to you & is great with big dogs. He’s food motivated so treats go along way to earning his heart. He’d be a great companion for anyone who has the time to give him the love & attention he deserves.

Story
Meet Ginger – Our Laid-Back Senior Cat Looking for a Peaceful Home 🐾 We’re heartbroken to share that we’re looking for a new home for our beloved cat, Ginger. He’s 11 years old and has been a cherished part of our family. Ginger is the definition of chill—he’s incredibly laid back, gentle, and loves nothing more than lounging in a sunny spot and enjoying a good meal. We recently welcomed a newborn, and it’s been hard to give Ginger the attention and calm space he needs. He truly thrives in a low-stress, peaceful home—and most importantly, he wants to be the only pet. Ginger doesn’t do well sharing space with other animals and prefers to have his humans all to himself. What Ginger is looking for: A quiet, pet-free home Someone who appreciates a mellow, food-loving cat A warm spot to nap and a calm presence to keep him company Words that describe Ginger: 🌞 Relaxed 🍽 Food-loving 🛋 Independent 😴 Chill 🐾 Affectionate (in a low-key way)

Story
Yama was found with his sister in a park. The mother did not return for a few days. They were given to me for a temporary home. Yama is very chill and like to be petted. If you sit down he likes to lay on you or next to you. He does not like being picked up.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Rogue One got his name because he was the firstborn of his brothers. He's also the thoughtful one of his family - he doesn't rush into new situations, but prefers to take his time. So if you're his people, he will love you to death, but if you're new, he's likely to give you some space at first. He's a playful guy, with a special love for string toys. He'd like to be in a quiet or moderately active home. He hasn't been around kids, but would do best with children who will respect a cat's need for space.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
