Story
Looking to rehome our sweet boy. His name is Toulouse (from the Aristocrat’s), he’s a big two year old. He is the biggest cuddle bug, loves being close to his people, and will happily curl up next to you anytime he gets the chance. He’s very chatty, full of personality, and such a loving companion. This has honestly been a really hard decision for us, but due to severe allergies, we need to find him a new home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. We want to make sure he goes to someone kind and patient who will treat him like family.

Story
Relocated to Texas from Arizona. Living with my daughter who is very allergic to cats. She is so sweet. Loves to look out windows. She has a very quiet meow. She will give you lots of love. When you get her home please give her 3 or 4 days to adjust. Try not to force her letting you pet her. She needs time to adjust to her new surroundings. I have many of the items you will need to adopt her. Once again…many new cat owners who are adopting older cats need to realize that your cat will come around …if you need more information I can help you.

Story
Nova is a 6 year old gray and white tabby. Nova was adopted in June of 2020 at around 10 weeks old and has lived in the same home for over 6 years. He is a very cuddly cat, but he likes to be pet on his own accord. Nova has an older sister whom he used to play rough with, but has simmered down as he’s gotten older. In 2023, he got a younger brother Jupiter whom he was introduced to very slowly. With the addition of Jupiter, Nova’s behavior become very territorial. He often peed outside his litter box and on the off chance he came across his brother, he would attack him. He seems to be just a very anxious cat. He is so loving and cute, but he just has issues with feeling on edge and having to defend himself if he feels like he’s in danger. He needs attention but other animals seem like a no go right now. His perfect owner would be someone who has no other animals.

Hello! My name is LOVE! I am 9 months old! I was born in August! I am super loving and calm. My foster parents have loved on me since the beginning and gave me my name! I am an indoor cat and I love sitting by the window! Chicken and Turkey are my favorites! I also like fresh water! I am ready to be loved even more by my new family! I would love some other cat company. I am gently playful!

Story
Paul is an incredibly affectionate 4-year-old, domestic medium hair cat with a gentle and loving personality. If you sit down, there is a very good chance he'll immediately climb into your lap to keep you company. He is the type of cat that truly enjoys being close to his people and turns any house into a home with his sweet nature. Paul is FIV positive and FeLV negative. FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, affects a cat’s immune system, but many FIV positive cats live long, happy, and completely normal lives with proper care and regular veterinary visits. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds between cats and is not typically transmitted through casual contact such as sharing food bowls, grooming, or cuddling. Because of this, many FIV positive cats can safely live with other friendly, nonaggressive cats. At this time, Paul does not require any special medication or treatment. He simply deserves a loving indoor home where he can remain healthy, safe, and cared for like any other cat. Paul is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. His fee is $100 and you can apply to adopt him here:  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
