Story
I feel that this cat has potential for adoption because she has basically "adopted me". She waits for my truck each day until I get there to feed her and has hops in the truck with me to get warm during this so far unforgiving winter. I put a small pet house behind the bushes where she stays most of the time, but she likes to roam the parking lot and I'm afraid that one day some crazy tenant driving like a maniac might hit her. Once fed, she becomes very affectionate. I cannot take her inside my apartment because the rental company here charges an outrageous initial fee for pets and $35 a month every month thereafter. I'm much older, retired and on a fixed income and I simply cannot afford her food, litter, medical care or the monthly fees. I'm at my wits end as far as what to do with this situation and I hate that she has to endure this freezing weather. I seriously need help with this problem.

Story
Good morning, We are a manufactured housing community in Prince George County VA caring for abiut 50-100 community cats. We have spayed/neutered and vaccinated close to 40, re-homed about 10 and lost a few 😞 We just found out yesterday that one of the male cats we took to get neutered has stomatits. We dont want to release him back into the community because of his prognosis. If we do the dental work and pull his teeth, he would have to be in a home. Can you offer any help or know of someone who can? Thanks! Jenn David

Story
I'm helping to rehome Marge for a friend that moved out of the country. She's 4 years old, and is very loving. She is a lap kitty for sure, she follows you every where you go, almost like a puppy dog. She loves being loved on. She has a very expressive face, so you know if you are over stimulating her, of course the tail will start to go sometimes at this point, and a little lean back of the head. She never bites, but she does give love nibbles after she has gotten used to you and is enjoying getting loved on. She has a favorite toy, its in one of her pictures, a poor worn out pink mouse with a little rattle inside. Marge will bring this toy to you and drop it at your feet and wait for you to throw it, she will run and find it and bring it back for more fetch fun. After Marge has been here with me for approximately 4 months, she actually let me scratch her belly. She will be a lot of company for you. She does not like dogs, she is very afraid of them, was raised with 2 other kitties.

Story
I've had Roger since he was a kitten, he was rescued through C.A.R.E., and he is now 8 years old. Roger is very well trained, fully litter trained and does not scratch furniture. Hes looking for a home without small dogs, as he doesnt do well with them, but he gets along great with larger dogs. Roger truly deserves a home that can give him the love, attention, and freedom he needs. He would thrive in a space where he can roam freely and no longer be separated to one side of the house. Roger is incredibly affectionate, he loves to cuddle, enjoys treats, and is obsessed with his cardboard scratch posts. He also loves catnip and laser toys. He's a sweet, loving companion who will bring so much joy to the right home.

Story
This is Luna. She is looking for a new home. My environment at home is not the most comfortable for her due to my hyperactive dog and I would love to find her a comfortable & safe home. She is sooo cute, super sweet & loves to play! She is good with small children! She loves cuddles and loves to follow you around. Luna loves to be the star of the show and also loves her own space as well. She is caught up with all her shots as well and I have paperwork for those! She can also come with her own cat tower, bed, 2 cat scratching post, toys, treats, food, stainless steel water fountain and litter box!

Story
Meet Ellie! This sweet girl was an owner surrender at no fault of her own. Ellie is 5 years old and she does have a liver shunt. Her previous owner did say she would have random flair ups and she does need to be on Hydrolyzed Protein food. We do know her condition can hinder her from finding a new forever home but we know someone is out there who would be perfect for her!
