Tabby kittens & cats in Rocky Mount, Virginia

Petey came to me by way of my uncle who had an extended illness. Apparently he was abandoned by his first owner. I have got him neutered and he has no problem with my other cats. He is a lovely cat that craves human companionship. I think Petey deserves to be in a home with a dedicated master. He has a lot of love to give his human. He needs time to adjust and someone that can offer him more pets than I can at my rescue.

Jade and Cheyenne are looking for homes either together or separately. Their rescuer found these sweet female sisters when they were still tiny babies, abandoned with 10 other cats inside a crate at one of the green-box locations. Their rescuer and the humane society found homes for the others. The rescuer hoped to keep these 2 girls (she is keeping their mom) but a change in housing situation no longer allows them to stay. Jade is a rare female orange tabby. She is very cuddly and loves attention. She loves laying with you or on you, and being with you all the time. She’s very playful with her sister. Cheyenne is the dilute torti. She will come near you for pets when she wants them or at bedtime, she will come and lay by your feet or in between your legs. She is very playful but shy, which is how she got her name. Both girls are now 5-months old. They both have rabies vaccines and will be spayed October 12th, prior to adoption. Britney Spears came to us carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders; and four tiny newborn kittens depending on her for survival. She was terrified, defensive, and difficult to handle at first, but never because she was mean. Britney was simply doing what any devoted mother would do after surviving life on the streets: protecting her babies with everything she had. She’s discovering soft beds, gentle affection, quiet routines, and the simple comfort of knowing where her next meal will come from. Britney Spears has spent so much of her life surviving. Now she deserves a home where she can finally rest, relax, and be cared for the way she’s always deserved.

Meet Nip, a sweet and gentle girl who’s still getting settled in, but already winning hearts! She’s incredibly friendly, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and absolutely loves curling up in your lap for snuggles. Nip is the perfect mix of calm companion and loving cuddle buddy.
