Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tater, born in 2010, is a beautiful and affectionate senior calico cat who has a lot of love to give! She enjoys birdwatching during her quiet moments and loves to chase a laser toy when she’s feeling playful! Tater would thrive in a calm home with a special someone. As a senior cat, she requires a prescription diet and regular medication. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Echo, a petite little girl with excellent manners! As the smallest in her litter, she can easily be overlooked and waits her turn for food, play and snuggles. She soaks up every bit of attention you give her and shows her deep appreciation with a strong purr and a cheek rub on your hand, but she clearly prefers sitting on your lap to being held up high. You can easily bring out her playful side with a wand toy and suddenly this demure little kitten springs into action!! Echo is gray all over with a sweet cherub face, expressive eyes and short hair. She gets long well with other cats and can warm up to respectful dogs with a slow introduction. Apply to adopt her today and she will Echo you… “I love you too!"  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Peekaboo (or "Boo") bustles with energy and personality. Early in life, she struggled to put on weight and was smallest of her litter, but she caught up out of pure determination. Boo lives up to the feisty tortoiseshell reputation (known as "tortitude"). She doesn't hesitate to wrestle with her much older foster brother, Sean. Boo is intensely curious about everything, from houseplants to your sandwich, so fully expect that nothing will be safe from her in your household (including your heart). Boo loves to run off excess energy on her cat wheel. She currently has too much energy to be much of a lap cat, but shows signs she will enjoy cuddles from time to time when she gets older. Boo needs a high level of mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy, which means she would do best in a household with other playful cats (or perhaps be adopted with another kitten). She is currently good meeting older cats as well. Her personality is already bold and dominant, even at a young age, so we suspect she would like to become top cat of any household she runs.  Boo has not met dogs, but has a confident personality and would likely do well. Due to her small size, she would need a slow introduction with dogs that are polite and cat friendly. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org.
