Story
Apply to Adopt Me! My name is Oliver, or Ollie for cuteness. I am a charming, goofy, 48.6-lb, 1 1/2-year-old Australian Shepherd. Sadly, I was left behind to fend for myself when my family moved.  I possess a great temperament and super sweet personality, effortlessly forming connections with everyone I meet .  If the idea of a dog resting its head on your lap resonates with you, I’m your guy.  My favorite thing in life is being with my person and I tend to follow them everywhere. I do get some separation anxiety so someone who is home most of the time to stay by my side is ideal. Training to help me overcome this will certainly be helpful. Due to my puppy-like tendencies and not being accustomed to the sounds of city living, I require someone who is willing to assist with my training. I love walking on a leash as long as there are no distractions, but noises such as cars and bikes make me nervous. But my foster mom says that I have improved. I am an extremely intelligent boy, a quick learner and obedient. I prefer to sleep at night in close proximity to my family, and will sleep quietly on my bed all night. I relax in tandem with my surroundings and settled quickly into my foster home. Car rides are something I enjoy and, of course, doing things with my human. I am very eager to please. I benefit from the companionship of a friendly dog but I can adapt to a solo environment too. I do well with older children, but I may accidentally knock over a younger kid with my exuberance.  I am already a great dog, I just need training and guidance to be even better. I love to run and play with my toys in the yard, so an active family with a fenced yard and experience with my breed will be considered. I don't like being left outside in the yard without my humans; I just want to be where they are. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Bella, a mini–Australian Shepherd. Bella is 3 1/2yo and weighs 36lbs. She has spent the past 3 years in a loving home but due to a demanding work schedule, her current owner cannot give this young, active girl the time she needs. Bella is friendly and outgoing, loves to play fetch and run in the yard. She walks well on a leash and does great on car rides. She is house trained and crate trained. Bella does well with older, quieter children. True to her breed, Bella tries to herd younger, active children, which we feel would not be an ideal situation for smaller kids. She is also an alpha dog and wants to be the leader of her pack, so it is best if there is no other alpha dog in the home. Someone who understands the Australian Shepard breed is highly preferred. Though this tends to be a high energy breed, Bella has a more moderate energy level and does not require an excessive amount of exercise, but a good-sized fenced yard is necessary for her to be able to play ball and chase a Frisbee. An active household, with someone who is home more than not, would be a great match. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you could give Bella her forever home, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.  November 29, 2025, 3:00 pm
