Story
Simba is an extremely playful and energetic dog. His favorite activity is playing fetch, and he can spend hours chasing a ball without ever getting tired of it. Although he is happy and full of energy, Simba can be reactive when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations. This is because he is both protective and somewhat fearful of things he does not know. Once he feels comfortable and builds trust, his true personality shines through. Simba is incredibly loyal to his family and forms strong bonds with the people he loves. He is always attentive, protective, and eager to be by their side. His combination of energy, devotion, and protective nature makes him a truly special companion.

Story
Meet Theo! Theo is a neutered Border Collie mix who loves long walks, runs, playing outside, and relaxing at home with his people. He is potty trained and even knocks at the door when he needs to go outside. Theo is incredibly loyal once he trusts you, but he can be fearful and defensive when meeting new people and needs patience and time to warm up. He enjoys playing with other dogs after a slow, patient introduction, but because he resource guards toys, his crate, and his personal space at home, we believe he would be happiest as the only pet. He also needs a home without children. Theo has megaesophagus and eats and drinks from elevated bowls, and his feeding benches will go with him. Theo is a great dog with so much potential. With an experienced, patient owner who can provide structure, training, and a safe environment, we truly believe he will thrive and become an amazing companion.

Story
Gemini Zod is a charismatic Aussie mix with a unique blend of charm and energy. This adorable pup came to us initially shy and scared, but it took just a couple of days for him to reveal the true star within. Gemini Zod has transformed into an outgoing and charismatic companion. His big personality shines through, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Gemini Zod enjoys an extremely active lifestyle. His love for walking, chasing after a ball, and indulging in some bone-chewing sessions is truly delightful to witness. But the real show-stopper is when he decides it's time for zoomies – his playful sprints and twists are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Gemini Zod is seeking a home that appreciates his lively spirit and is ready to provide the love and engagement he craves.  HE IS EXTREMELY PEOPLE SELECTIVE AND MUST GO TO A VERY EXPERIENCED ADOPTER. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $450 and you can adopt me at WWW.POLKADOGZ.ORG ##2048458##

Story
Willow is an 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. She was rescued from an high-kill Alabama shelter at just a few weeks old. Our family adopted her from a local rescue in August 2025. From our experience she does good with other humans, she is very affectionate and has a silly playful demeanor. She is house trained and is also used to doing her business outside. From our experience she does not mind other dogs during walks. Unfortunately, recently she has been having fights with our senior dog (11-year-old Australian Shepherd) over territory. Due to our older dogs age, the fight is not fair and some injuries were sustained. We also have another dog (2 year-old greyhound mix - middle child). So far, she and the middle child do amazing together. They play all the time and are buddies. Which could indicate that maybe she does well with other dogs but at this time we would be rehoming her to a household with no other dogs. She is a sweet girl and our goal is to rehome her to a loving family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky Irish Trio Looking for Their Forever Homes!   Meet Saoirse - Pronounced  Sur-sha These three adorable siblings arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy on St. Patrick’s Day, so it only felt right to give them all charming Irish names! Full of life and personality, these pups are ready to bring a little extra luck—and a lot of love—into their future families. Approximately five months old, these pups are believed to be a mix of hound and heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). While we don’t have confirmed information about their parents, we were told they share these breeds—and based on their energy levels and personalities, it certainly shows! We expect them to grow into medium-to-large dogs, likely reaching 60 pounds or more when fully grown. These siblings came to us thanks to a kind individual who rescued them from a difficult situation. While their past is a bit of a mystery, their bright, happy spirits show they’re ready to leave it behind and focus on a future filled with love and adventure.  Saoirse has a beautiful brindle coat and enjoys running and jogging when she is out with staff for her daily walks.  She would do best in an active home that would include her when on their daily walks and adventures. A securely fenced backyard is required to give her the space she will need to run, play, and grow.   Important Information for New Puppy Parents  Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.  We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.  **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 9, 2026, 6:34 pm
