Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Maggie, a 10-month-old, 20lb. Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love.  She adores snuggling with her foster fur siblings and foster human sibling and is very affectionate.  She sleeps through the night in bed with her people/animals and she loves toys, balls, tug of war, and hanging out with other dogs and cats. She is playful and energetic and loves the rain.  She is house trained, walks great on a leash and rides well in a car. Maggie still has a lot of puppy in her, and she would do best with a yard and another doggy companion to match her energy level, but not 100% necessary as long as she gets lots of physical and mental activity games with her humans. Maggie is friendly with cats, kids and dogs and is affectionate with anything and anyone. She loves to greet new people like they are her best friends but is working on her manners. She’s a sweet, cuddly pup ready for her forever home. We are preferring someone with herding dog experience. Even though she is good with kids, high-drive herding breed dogs such as Maggie may want to herd small children, so older children would probably be best. She also is a very intelligent breed, and will need someone who can provide the time for daily mental stimulation activities such as advanced treat puzzles, shell games with cups, DIY indoor scent searches, muffin tin and tennis ball games, and targeted trick-training sessions. This is not a breed that can be left to just lie around while you work or be left home alone. She will need someone who is home more often than not. She will also need regular brushing and grooming. If you believe you have the perfect active forever home for puppy Maggie, complete an app and tell us about your family.August 17, 2026, 11:32 pm

Story
Rosie is a beautiful one-year-old Aussie-Chihuahua mix looking for a patient, loving home. She can be anxious and has shown some aggression when meeting new people or adjusting to new environments, so she’ll do best with someone who understands that trust takes time.Rosie loves classical music. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet, affectionate personality truly shines. She loves being close to her person and forms strong, loyal bonds with those who show her kindness and patience. She can also be very protective of her person.Rosie is looking for an adopter who can dedicate the time, love, and attention she needs to build her confidence and help her thrive. Preferably with someone who stays at home as Rosie does not like to be alone. In return, you’ll gain a devoted companion whose love is well worth the wait.

Peggy is a 7 year old sweet, energetic and fun dog. She makes a great companion, just needs to be walked on a daily basis. She would do best at a home as a single dog, please do not apply if you are looking for a 2nd or 3rd furry friend since we are only considering her for homes that want 1 dog only.Looking for a home that will give her the attention she needs. Story
Meet Loki! Born around April 2024, Loki is an Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He was born to a pregnant rescue and has been loved since day one. Loki is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loves being around people. He’s still young, intact, and full of energy, so he’s looking for an active family that enjoys playing, walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors. He would thrive with someone who can give him plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training. In return, he’ll reward you with endless love, loyalty, and companionship. Loki is looking for a forever home where he’ll be treated like family and have the opportunity to live a happy, active life. If you’re searching for a fun-loving adventure buddy with a gentle heart, Loki is ready to meet you! 🐾❤️

Story
We adopted Rusty about 7 years ago as a rescue,he's 9-ish;I've had 5 dogs in my life,he is exceptional, never seen such loyalty in a dog.Once he imprints on his human,he's impossibly loyal and protective. He doesn't get along with our cat, but in all honesty, the cat's a bit of a jerk and swipes at Rusty every time he walks by. He's brilliant with kids and kinda a teddy bear, nothing he loves more than being close. He's not great around other dogs when he has his human with him,he's never been physically aggressive at the dog park,, but he's certainly noisy, especially when the UPS guy walks up the driveway, you'll know about it,, he's an amazing doorbell, definitely a lazy indoor dog, basically a pretty throw rug, will stand at the door to let you know he needs to go out, will give you a bark when he's ready to come in.We rarely walk him. Let a stranger in the house and he's all waggy if they smile at him. Vaccinations have lapsed but we'll get them up to date. Loves Ted Lasso and GOT.
