Story
Kelce is a good boy. He is house trained, however, there is a story with this. We have chickens and he likes to get in their pen and play. We bought a new pen and he was pushing in so we bought an electric fence. He then became terrified of going outside and will now rather potty inside than outside. The fence has been shut down and he potties outside again but I can't afford to replace the chicken pen and he's not figuring out how to stay out. He doesn't hurt the chickens, in any way. He is also not as socialized as he should be. He is protective of my house and will bark when anyone comes close but he is a sweet, loving, and generally well behaved. We have another small and large dog as well as a cat. He is social with the different animals but still may need to meet new animals before becoming friendly. My children do not spend as much time with him as he would like. He is an active dog needing an active life. Please let me know if you'd like to meet him!

Story
Ernie is a 41-pound, one-year-old Aussie Shepherd mix who was picked up as a stray by a shelter. Even though he got around just fine, they noticed his feet were deformed, making him look as if he were wearing UGG boots. Turns out his personality was just as cute, and he became a shelter favorite, and they lobbied hard to get him out. Our foster has him now and gives him a glowing report. He was immediately best friends with her younger dog and respectfully ignored their older dog, which was not a fan. He is housetrained and good in a crate. Hi&#44 Im Baxter!<br/><br/>Life didnt start out easy for me. I came from a pretty unsanitary situation before Atlanta Humane rescued me and showed me what kindness feels like. Im still learning how to be a dog and trust people&#44 but underneath my cautious side is a heart thats so ready to love. Once I feel safe&#44 youll see how sweet and affectionate I can be!<br/><br/>Im most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isnt such a scary place. Id do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return&#44 I promise to give you all the love Ive been saving up. I cant wait to run&#44 play&#44 and just enjoy being a happy dog&#44 especially with another canine friend by my side!
