He does have some skin allergies that are now under control, and we’re committed to keeping him on the ALR account for his yearly check-up with the dermatologist. I love going on adventures like hiking, exploring, and splashing around in streams, but Im equally happy taking a long nap on the couch with my people or dog buddy. Im also incredibly curious and intelligent. I learn by watching the humans and other dogs around me, and if theres cheese involved, Im an especially quick student. <br/><br/>Speaking of cheese... its probably my favorite thing in the entire world. Ive even learned where my foster family keeps it! Im still working on my manners around the kitchen, but Im a fast learner and now patiently wait outside for my chance at a cheesy treat.<br/><br/>I do have some anxiety, especially when Im alone, but Ive already made so much progress and Im working hard on feeling safe and confident. Im looking for a patient family who understands that settling into a new home takes time and will continue helping me build confidence. Although she is not registered as a purebred, the owners we got her from said she was a purebred Aussie.She has also always been the Alpha with all of our dogs.She is now 8 and well beyond having another litter, though she has not yet been spayed.Bristol has a tight bond with our small family. She loves to be petted. She does fine staying at home during the workday. She is smart, loyal, and loving!We need to rehome ASAP. She comes with a crate, food, bowls, collars, leashes, etc.. *Adopter must live in Metro Atlanta* Ariana is a super sweet and cuddly, 2 year old, 31 lb Australian Shepherd mix. She wants nothing more than to please her person. She is very much a velcro dog. Wherever you go, she will be in your shadow. Ariana is very food motivated which is excellent for training. She has been crate trained and house trained in her foster home. She also does really well for car rides. She loves to chew on her Nylabones and can often times be found walking around with one in her mouth waiting to settling down next to you. Ariana enjoys playing with other dogs but would be happiest as an only pet in her forever home so she can soak up all of the attention. She is a great companion for someone who works from home especially. Ariana does have heartworms, so she requires a home in Metro Atlanta, so she can get treatment at our vet. This treatment is covered in the adoption fee. She also has Nystagmus, but after visiting with a Neurologist and Ophthalmologist, she checked out well and there is no further treatment needed at this time. It is likely she was just born like this. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $350, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.
