Jade is a two-year-old, 43-pound Aussie mix tied out and left at a shelter built and managed by a good Samaritan. Luckily, the person who left her contacted the shelter and told them she was there so they could take her in. Jade is a sweet and cuddly girl who seems to get along with everyone and is clean in her kennel. We are hoping to find her forever home this time around. Story
Skye is a beautiful mini-aussie with hilarious personality. She just enjoys hanging out all day and being pet these days since she is 11. She can't go on long hikes due to hip arthritis but it's never a problem otherwise. She is a pure bred from a reputable breeder in Michigan. She doesn't care for other dogs and won't play, but she tolerated living with two other dogs now and a cat she loves! She is well behaved and won't even go more than 20ft away from you outside. Doesn't need a leash unless the area requires it. We only looking for a new home because I'm constantly traveling for business and moving a lot. It is expensive and doesn't seem fair to them when dog sitters just occasionally come check on them. We will require you to send some frequent photos and want to know about the home she will be going to.

Introducing Princess! Age: 1.5 years old Breed: Golden Retriever/ Australian Shepherd mix Arrival Date: 3/23/2024 Meet Princess, a friendly, playful, and vocal 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix! Princess arrived with our other resident, Dutchess, and has made herself popular with her loving personality.  Behavior with Cats, Other Dogs, and Children Princess gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a great fit for family households. Her interactions with cats are unknown, but given her friendly and playful nature, she could potentially adapt well with proper introductions.  Personality Princess is a friendly and playful Border Collie mix who isn't afraid to express herself vocally. She loves cuddles and enjoys sitting in laps, making her an excellent companion for families who enjoy an interactive and expressive pet. Despite her separation anxiety, Princess can, given time, adapt to her new home with a supportive and loving family.  Skills/Training Princess will need assistance adjusting to a new potty training schedule with her new family. Her friendly and vocal nature suggests she will respond positively to consistent and patient training methods.  Medical Princess is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, and microchipped, ensuring she's ready for a healthy start in her new home. Regular vet visits will be essential for maintaining her health and well-being.  Likes/Dislikes Princess loves cuddles, sitting in laps, and expressing herself vocally. On the other hand, she does not like being left alone and has separation anxiety. A household able to provide her with plenty of company and reassurance would be ideal for Princess. If you're seeking a friendly, playful, and vocal canine companion, Princess could be your perfect match. Fill out an application to meet Princess; this expressive Border Collie mix, with a bit of patience and a lot of love, might just be the lively addition your family has been waiting for! ##2000934##

Story
I’m Bear Bennett. I’m a 4-5-year-old lab mix with much love to give. I love spending time with my 2-leggeds, and I follow them everywhere, so they have nicknamed me Velcro. When my foster Mom is working, I lay by her feet. I enjoy playing with all the other dogs in my foster home. I met some chickens, and I think they’re pretty cool, but I keep to myself. But my foster mom says I am a little too interested in cats. When asked, I know how to ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’. My favorite hobby is going for walks with my foster mom and dad. When they take out my leash, I get excited, so I hop around and show them my pearly whites with a huge smile! I also love to hug and cuddle with my foster peeps. They think I’m very entertaining and cute as a button. I also enjoy going for car rides. I am very good at sharing my toys and food, too.  I don’t like to go into a crate, but the good news is that I don’t need one because I’m completely house-trained and never get into any mischief.  My foster mom says I would do best in a chill home either with another dog or I can be the king of my castle. If you’re looking for a new best friend who will give you unconditional love, look no further.      An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          April 25, 2024, 8:30 am

What a delight!  Jack is on the timid side, but wants nothing more than to glue himself to a special someone. So he is going to do best in an adult home only or older kids 14 years and up He barely makes a peep; has endless smiles when accompanying his foster mom working outdoors; and loves a bath, as long as a full hair drying session .  He snarls? NO! That’s just a grin.  His perfect home is one with a single or couple of adults that has experience with the breed or handling timid/unsocialized dogs.  He is chicken, dog, and cat safe.       Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  ##2012101##

Story
Happy is a super sweet year-old Mini Australian Shepherd who loves to snuggle!  True to his name, Happy gives the cutest curled-up-lip “happy” snarl because so excited welcoming you home. This guy loves his human, booty scratches, going for walks, and keeping a watchful eye on his human. You’ll never again be alone in the bathroom!  Happy’s first year was a sheltered life but is thriving with his foster family. It’s a big world outside and Happy needs a patient owner to gradually introduce him to all of life’s adventures beyond the front door.  Happy is a good boy, has a calm demeanor, is housebroken and has excellent indoor manners. Happy is timid to seek out and make new friends but easily won over given a short warmup period to enter his circle of trust. He gets along with his foster dog and cat friends and okay with the feathered friends, chickens.  Happy ideal home will be with dog savvy family, have fenced yard, and patience to work with Happy within his comfort zone.  Older, teenager kids best, and he is okay with all kids when have visitors, but for day-to-day living a quieter home life better suited to match Happy’s happy zone!  If you are looking for an awesome guy to join your family must meet Happy!  APPLY TODAY at RuffDogRescue.org to arrange a meet n greet with Happy. My two dogs had puppies before I could get them neutered / spayed so I was blessed with 9 puppies. I only have 3 left for adoption. Moo Moo (fluffy puppy), Panda (the one with one eye that’s black), and Eye patch (the one who has a little spot on one eye). If you’re looking to adopt more then one, you must get them neutered / spayed immediately so they don’t inbreed. It’s super dangerous for puppy’s to be inbreeds.

Sweet loving dog needs a forever home! We can’t keep her because we don’t have the time for her anymore and she barks a lot which wakes up our new baby. She also probably needs a home where she’s the only dog. She gets along with her sister most of the time, but I think she’d be happier in a home where she gets all of the attention. She’s the sweetest little cuddler ever. And she always greets us at the door with as many toys as she can fit in her mouth. She will be missed.
