Story
Little Foot is Sponsored by A FriendMeet Little Foot 🐾Little Foot is an adorable mixed breed pup (we’re guessing Border Collie with a splash of either Corgi or Spaniel) with a gentle soul and a heart that’s even bigger than his ears. He’s missing all of the toes on his front left foot, but don’t let that fool you — Little Foot gets around just fine and doesn’t let it slow him down. The vet indicates he was likely born missing the toes or had a very early injury in life. This sweet boy had a rough start to life, so he can be a very shy when you first meet him. Give him a bit of time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll quickly see his true personality shine. Once he warms up, Little Foot is incredibly affectionate, loving, and eager to be close to his people.Little Foot would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s ready to show him how good life can be. In return, he’ll give you quiet loyalty, gentle affection, and the kind of love that only a dog who’s been through a lot can offer. If you’re looking for a special pup with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Little Foot might just be your perfect match. 💙If you are interested in meeting Little Foot, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
Bryce is Sponsored by Happy TrailsHey - I’m Bryce. 🐾I give off strong “cool guy” energy. Confident walk, happy expression, the kind of presence that makes you think I’m running the show. And honestly? I don’t mind letting people believe that. In another life, I was definitely the president of my fraternity—natural leader, undeniable charisma, everyone knew who was in charge. But here’s the truth I don’t advertise.Behind the cool, pretty boy exterior is a dog who lives for affection. I like to act like I’m supervising things, keeping order, making sure everything’s under control… but if you sit down, I’m suddenly very interested in being right next to you. A well-timed belly rub or chest scratch and my tough-guy act disappears completely.I’m affectionate, loyal, and happiest when I’m close to my people. I enjoy being involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s lounging on the couch or going for a hike. I may pretend I’m the boss, but what I really want is connection, comfort, and a home where I can relax and be myself. I will thrive with consistent daily exercise and mental stimulation. If you’re looking for a dog with confidence, charm, and a secretly soft heart, I think we’ll get along just fine.I’ll keep up the tough act - you just keep the belly rubs coming. ❤️If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment.
