This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? Meet Artemis - healthy, happy, playful and full of mischief! Artemis is, shall we say, a little assertive? She will grab your pants leg and pull as hard as she can! We think she is going to be a great farm dog as she follows her foster mom everywhere and isn't much interested in the chickens, goat, or ducks. Artemis was born on July 5. Mom is a red heeler and dad a Border Collie. When considering adopting a herding breed, please research the breed characteristics. Artemis will need adoptive parents committed to her training and satisfying her energy needs to help her become the perfect adult dog. Artemis is being fostered in Ridgefield, Washington. Artemis has been wormed, microchipped, and the first set of vaccinations. The adoption fee is $400. Are you in the market for a new walking buddy with a snuggly side? Kip is about a year old, around 30 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and doing great in her apartment life. She doesn't bark and is quiet in her crate waiting for her people to come home. She's a bit shy when meeting new folks, but she warms up once she knows she is safe. She's got brains as well as looks. She's learned sit, down, paw, fetch, and even drop it on cue. And she walks beautifully on a leash. She's great with other dogs and currently lives with a cat with no issues. She does have that classic herding instinct, so someone who understands that would be great. But, if you're looking for a sweet companion to share walks, a little fetch and some couch snuggles, Kip might be your girl. Kip is located in Austin but you can meet her over a video call.
