He`s very stressed here and is bouncing off the walls of his kennel. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Gaston is a bit shy at first, but doesn’t take long to warm up with a gentle approach. He can be nervous in new situations and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children. Gaston has lots of energy and can jump high. He’s treat motivated and is a little grabby when taking from your hand at times. Gaston walks well on the leash and appears house trained. He may chase a cat unless trained not to. He previously lived with other dogs and could do so again. Weighs 47 pounds

CURRENTLY IN TEMPORARY FOSTER CARE! PLEASE ALL 801-675-8590 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING ZIRA!REPORTED BY FOSTER:Zira is an amazing dog. She doesn`t bark outside, takes treats from hands very gently, fast learner, great with other dogs, crate trained and very loving. She has learned how to use a dog door in just a few days. She would do best with older, dog-savvy children. She goes for hands when she`s excited or sometimes lonely. I believe it`s puppy behavior because it`s not aggressive. When I say leave it-she removes her teeth from my hands. It doesn`t hurt but she backs down with the correction. She loves belly rubs. She follows me everywhere. She is not housetrained. She goes through the dog doors but if I`m not there she won`t continue to go outside. I have to go outside with her and she has to see me there to feel confident to go outside. Would do best with someone that stays at home most of the time. With the right home and training she would be amazing!OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Zira is shy around people she doesn’t know, but is getting used to the big world! She does best with someone that has a slow, gentle approach and lets her get used to them. She jumps and air comps when she’s excited, walks well on the leash and knows the sit command. Zira has a minor bite history; a release of liability form will need to be signed upon adoption. Zira’s a very sweet dog that will form a bond with you when you give her time. She’s treat-motivated and is gentle when taking them from your hand. She would most likely chase a cat unless trained not to. She previously lived with other dogs and can be a little bossy toward the dogs here in our playgroups, but overall is a good girl. Weighs 48 pounds; $25 to adopt

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Roscoe is a bit of a shy dog that will appreciate meeting new people on his own terms. Once he is used to you, he will stick by your side and even sit in your lap. Roscoe previously lived with another dog and could most likely do so again. Since Roscoe is a working type dog breed, he would be most successful in a home that can mentally stimulate him and give him lots of walks. He may do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children.Weighs 32 pounds, $25 to adopt

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Looking for a buddy to snuggle with on these cold winter days? You are? Me too! I’m Kinz, a three-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighing in at 60 lbs. I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to be with my people. Working? I'll cuddle up on a dog bed next to you. Watching a movie? I'll be on the couch, preferably sharing your blanket. Going somewhere? Great, I'll hop in the backseat!   I’m also great with other dogs, and love to play with my foster dog siblings as much as they want! I'm crate trained and house trained. In fact, I know how to use the doggy door and am learning to ring a bell when the doggy door is closed.   My foster parents say that I’d love a home with a good balance of exercise and cuddle time. I really like kiddos, but am still learning some manners so kids 8+ or smaller kids that are dog savvy would be a perfect fit.   If you think I could be your new best friend, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey! I’m Brownie Bear, and I’m 1 year old! I weigh 67 pounds.  I’m a Chesapeake bay retriever/Australian Shepard mix. I like running in snow, going on walks, playing fetch, destroying socks, wrestling with my brother, and snuggling. My foster mom says I’m “quite the character”, I have lots of energy and get growly if I don’t get my way- training will be very important for me, as I like to jump on people and still have the occasional pee accident. I’m so smart and will do anything for a treat! I can sit, fetch, lay, stay and I love my crate! I will sleep through the night, and give you the best puppy dog eyes. I will do best in a home with no cats,  no small kids, and one with lots of love. I do like playing with other dogs, and am so excited to find my forever home. If you think I could be the boy for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2024, 1:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Leevi! This sweet soul is just about perfect.       I'm a 1 year old, male Australian Shepherd mix. I have a cute little tail nubbin' and I wag it, and my whole booty whenever I see any humans! Humans are my very favorite thing in this world; boys, girls, big, small, tall, I love them all! To say I am loyal is an understatement. I didn't get much to eat in my former life so right now I'm working on gaining some weight. I currently weigh 40lbs, I'm eating so well in my foster home, my weight is headed in the right direction!        My foster mom says that I am fully house trained and crate trained. She has NEVER seen me mark anywhere, even outside where all my foster siblings have marked. One of the other great things about me is I am not destructive when I'm left home, I play with my toys and take naps. I love to play with all of my foster siblings. I LOVE toys!!! Playing tug-of-war is the best! I like to chase a ball and bring it back however, I'm still working on being willing to let it go haha. I travel great in the car! I enjoy the ride and I don't get carsick. I was SO excited to jailbreak the pound but once we were in the car I fell right to sleep.         My foster mom has never seen me around cats but my personality says I have the potential to be good with them. I love kids and with some easy training my foster mom has already taught me to not jump up on people when I am excited. I love to follow my foster mom around and keep her company while she is cooking, cleaning, or just hanging out. I really like it when she drops ice on the floor. I am one smart cookie and picking up tricks is a cinch for me, so far I know "sit", "shake", and "drop". I am working on "stay", "roll over" and "beg". I am so good at running into my kennel, especially when it's time to eat! I am also learning to "stay" when my foster mom opens my kennel door until she gives me the okay. I also have no problem using a doggy door!        I've been hungry in my past, so in my foster home I do "chicken feeding" with my foster siblings, I'm great at catching treats and sharing. I do need to exercise to get my wiggles out but, I love a good nap, especially when it involves snuggling with you! Do I sound like your dream boy? Apply to meet me today!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2024, 1:01 pm
