When I started looking into getting a dog for my child, I never thought I’d end up with the one nobody else wanted. He came from a rejected litter, and somehow, he found his way to us. From the start, I could tell he was different. Not calm or quiet, but full of this crazy, hyper energy that just wouldn’t quit. And honestly? That’s what makes him who he is. He’s wild, yes, but he’s also the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. He loves people—anyone, anywhere. When he gets the attention he craves, he settles right in and shows off how good and well-behaved he can be. He has his favorites in life: long walks where every sound and smell is an adventure, a pile of toys he’ll dig through to find “the one” for a good game of tug, belly rubs that make him melt, and a warm bath at the end of the day. It takes me some time to trust my people, but once I do, I give you my heart. I love to cuddle!   I am great in my crate, I am potty trained, have no toy or food aggression, and love other dogs with proper introductions . I would thrive in a home with another dog that I can run and play with every day.   Besides my foster family, my trainer is my favorite person. He has taught me to be less fearful. I am a champ on leash, know the “place” command, and have great recall. I am a very well trained dog,but I would love for my new family to keep up with training. Hi there, I’m Jazzper!  I’m a male, 60 pound, 5 year old Aussie Shepherd mix.   I’m going to be honest with you, I need to lose a few pounds.  Want to get a head start on your New Year’s resolution?  I make a great running partner!  We could get in shape together.   I would require, however, to be your only canine training partner.  Humans are fine!  I just don’t like getting too close to other dogs.  My foster mom says that with dedicated training, I may be able to eventually coexist peacefully with other dogs.    My favorite things are running and walking in the neighborhood and playing with my tug in the backyard.  I love learning new tricks.  My favorite is when I balance a treat on my nose and my foster mom tells me to “get it.”  Then I flip it into the air and catch it in my mouth.  Yum!   Great things about me: Best as an only dog in the home Good with dog-savvy cats Great with humans over the age of 12 House trained and kennel trained   My requirements: Daily physical exercise (runs or walks) Daily mental stimulation (I love to play tug in the backyard) Dedication to kennel time Openness to muzzle training   I would like to continue to work with my professional trainer and am looking for a forever person who is dedicated to helping me be the best dog I can be.  I am a super smart dog who needs breed-specific (herding dog) mental stimulation everyday.  We could learn so many new things together.  I know all of this is a lot to ask.  But I really am the sweetest boy.  And after we exercise, we can snuggle on the couch together and watch some TV or read a book.     I’m looking for a patient handler with a consistent schedule.  Could that person be you?  Apply to adopt me at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication and we can set up a time to meet. I’m Froderick and my foster mom says I’m the most handsome dog she’s seen! I’m also sweet and love pets!  I’m 1 year old, but probably just barely as I still have that puppy energy. I’m listed as a cattle dog mix, but it’s anyone’s guess, and at 17 lbs I’m much smaller than most cattle dogs, but I’m definitely smart and pick up things quickly. My foster mom thinks I hadn’t really been in a home before, but I’ve picked up on things quickly and as long as I’m let out regularly I haven’t had any accidents in the house. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, especially if I have a fluffy bed!  I’ve been around cats and dogs and done fine with everyone. I’m good with people, but a little wary of smaller kids, they are a bit unpredictable! I like cuddling and love to get pets from my people. The world is still a little scary, so I’m working on confidence building.
