Meet Brooke! She is an absolutely gorgeous smaller standard Aussie (about 40-45 lbs)! She is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She has not been around children or cats so it will be best for her to go to a home without either. She is around other dogs in her foster home but does take time to warm up. She will be happiest and best off as an only dog. She was used for breeding and really needs a home to just give her all the love and let her be the center of attention. She loves to run and play and is a happy, sweet girl!! She will be 6 years old in July. Brooke is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any adopter must come to Huntsville to meet her. She will not be transported on public transport.

Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue. We only want what is best for this amazingly sweet boy!

Hello!!! I'm Simon! I'm a young Border Collie mix (under 1 yr estimated) and I am goofy, playful, silly, and fun. I am learning house training but don't have it down 100% yet. However, I have learned the doggie door so during the day I'm great with access to that and I sleep in my crate all night with no accidents also! I LOVE to play and have a lot of energy so I need a fur-sibling to play with me. I am neutered, chipped, and up to date on all my shots. I love my foster home and foster siblings but I am so excited to find my own FURever home soon!!!
