Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and could be available for transport but transport fees are on top of the adoption fee.

Meet Porsche! Just like her name, she's classy, impressive, and draws attention! She is a typical velcro aussie and wants to be loved on and touching her person. She thinks she's the boss but does play well with almost all other dogs. She will not do well with a dominant female and will do fantastic with a playful male! As a matter of fact, if you want two, she and Felix are fostered together and are BFFs!! She has not been around cats so she may or may not do well with them. She just wants to be loved and to play. She is about 5 years old, clearly had had at least one litter before she came to the shelter but she will never have any more! She is up to date on all her shots, spayed, chipped, HW negative and on monthly prevention. She is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and could be available for transport but note that transport fees are in addition to our adoption fees. Sydney is a tri-colored 6-7 year old female miniature Aussie. She has been spayed and weighs 28 pounds. She still needs to be vetted. Sydney is housebroken, walks good on the leash, gets along well with cats and dogs. She has not been around kids that she knows of. Sydney is not crate trained and the owner does not allow her to sleep on the bed with her. She does not have a fenced in yard but is used to being tether in order to spend free time outdoors. The reason for the surrender is that the Mom found out her daughter that has a mental illness was living in her car with Sydney and rescued the dog. She is unable to care for the dog at this time.
