Story
Blinkin is a beautiful Sarplaninac (Illyrian Shepherd - they dont appear on the drop down) - an ancient guardian breed - marched with Alexander & descended from Tibetan Mastiffs - of which she has several rescue pack mates. Blinkin came to us as a neglect/abuse case on 09/07/25. Blinkin is sweet, intelligent, and gets along with everyone. An angel who has been through hell. Recently spayed and getting better every day. Blink is available for adoption - but only to a loving, conscientious, forever home. The entire pack loves her. She is happy sleeping by the bed and lounging in the kitchen, so would have to be beyond stellar. 95% she is home for life. See Roscoe's listing - he is bigger, prettier, still a puppy, and keeps getting beat up (educated) by the older dogs. Never charged an adoption fee in 30 years and always take dogs back if problems arise but given the flakes I've seen lately, call it a refundable deposit / return incentive.

Story
Roscoe is a young Tibetan Mastiff. He was pulled from an LA Kill Shelter on 11/25. He had kennel cough. He was recently neutered. We have too many rescues. Most are older, have issues, and are bonded. They are home for life. They all tolerate Roscoe but he is not yet part of the pack. He is a goofy puppy. They educate him. Roscoe is available to a loving forever home with people who get: 1) Dogs are a lifetime commitment. 2) Roscoe is a guardian - not a golden retriever - please respect that. 3) No: substance issues, people who've ever surrendered or lost a dog, people who can't cover emergency vet care, have unstable housing, inadequate fences, or don't believe in routines (feeding, sleep, etc). He is to be family. We haven't ever charged a fee and have always taken dogs back if problems arose. But given the flakes we've seen lately, we'll call this a refundable deposit & return incentive. If an issue arises, bring him back to us for the refundable deposit.
