Story
Blinkin is a beautiful Sarplaninac (Illyrian Shepherd) - an ancient livestock guardian breed. They marched with Alexander and descended from Tibetan Mastiffs - of which she has several rescue packmates. All agree, "Hey Blinkin" is awesome. Blinkin came to us as a neglect/abuse case on 09/07/25. Blinkin is sweet, intelligent, and gets along with everyone. An angel who has been through hell. Blink is busy healing and putting on needed weight. Blink is available for adoption - but only to a loving, conscientious, forever home. If that is you, we are happy to meet.

Story
Roscoe is a goofy young Tibetan Mastiff. He was pulled from an LA Kill Shelter in late November 2025. He had kennel cough at the time and had to be quarantined. He is good with other dogs - albeit annoying because he wants to play. Still everyone from the lil mini schnauzer rescue to the strongest Tibetan Mastiff rescue tolerates him. That said, I have too many rescue dogs. Most are older or have issues that make them not reasonably adoptable. In contrast, Roscoe is young, adoptable, and a sweet dog. Also, he is not yet fully part of the pack. Roscoe is available to a loving forever home with people who understands 1) that dogs are a lifetime commitment and 2) that he is not a golden retriever - yes he is sweet but he will protect his people if he sees a problem.

Story
Roscoe is a beautiful Tibetan Mastiff. Roscoe was adopted from a Southern California kill shelter on 11/23/25. He will be recovering from kennel cough for a few weeks. Kill shelters are rough. Roscoe is sweet, intelligent, playful, and has a great nose. He is still a goofy 125 lbs puppy - annoying the old dogs - but getting better. Roscoe is good at coffee shops, good at dog beach - had 4 or 5 other dogs rushing and snapping at him on his first day. He walked past them as if they didn't exist - nonreactive just like my other Tibetan rescues. Roscoe deserves a great forever home and we have too many rescue dogs Roscoe is available to a loving, forever home. But only one that understands dogs are not disposable.

He is learning to be more confident and less reactive. Education: Good with bathroom and leash training and is working on leash reactivity Favorite Activities: Tug of war, long night walks, hanging out in the kitchen Looking for: An active family who will love him and play with him! Some patient training will help him be the best boy ever! He will do best as an only dog right now. Hippo likes routine so someone who can create some structure for him would be ideal to help with his anxiety! A family with kids would be good, too - he has been great with kids of all ages, even with toddlers! A home with a backyard in a quiet neighborhood would be great!
