Story
Roscoe is a young (about 2 year old) Tibetan Mastiff. Roscoe was pulled from an LA Kill Shelter on 11/25. Roscoe was recently neutered. Roscoe is a sweet, 130 lbs goof who likes squeaky toys. Roscoe is not yet part of the pack - most of them (see the last photo) are old rescues. While the pack isn't roughing him up (educating him) as badly anymore, they already have a stoic alpha male (12-year-old Tibetan boy they all adore), so Roscoe remains an outsider. For that reason, plus just having too many rescues numerically, we are willing to rehome Roscoe to a great home. We've always taken dogs back if issues arose. But given recent experience, we may request a refundable deposit. Roscoe is available to a loving forever home with people who view dogs as a lifetime commitment.

She's been a bit fearful in our care, but with slow introductions and patience, her warm, affectionate side truly shines. Once she feels safe, Kona is the kind of pup who loves soaking up pets, riding shotgun on car adventures, and enjoying a breezy day at the beach. Kona is both crate trained and potty trained, giving her a great head start in her new home. She has done well with other dogs out and about, but she prefers not to share her favorite people - so she's looking to be the only dog in the home. Any kids in the household will need to meet her ahead of time to ensure it's a great fit for everyone. How this pet arrived: Clifford was brought in by a community member on January 30, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Clifford (yes... he really is big). True to his name, Clifford is a big dog with a big heart-and sometimes big feelings too. This gentle giant can feel unsure around new people, especially men, so he needs humans who will proudly advocate for his space on walks and when visitors come over. Giving him time and calm introductions helps him feel safe. Clifford's size may be impressive, but his nature is soft and sensitive. He's best suited to a home with children aged 8 and up who can respect his boundaries.
