Story
Mel (a.k.a. Mellie, Meller Time & Marshall Mellow) is the cat who was born with a silver mouse in his mouth. His singsong trilling and stunning movie star good looks ensured he was voted "best looking" and "most likely to succeed" in high school. Yep, he was one of the cool cats in town. With his charisma and charm, who wouldn't fall head over heels for him? Mel's a lap cat, but only when he feels like it. If you're lucky enough to have him grace your lap, just make sure you're not too needy or grabby or you'll end up on the receiving end of his squinty-eyed disapproval. And trust me, when Mel recoils from you, he does it with such finesse that you'll feel like a complete fool for even trying. He’ll let you know when it’s time to hang out. When he starts ankle sharking, that’s one of your cues to participate. But remember, it's always on his terms. Mel's pretty easy going with other cats, but don't mistake his peaceful demeanor for weakness. He's all about "peace through strength" and he'll maintain the harmony with his attitude. He’s even tolerant of dogs … If they behave themselves. Even though Mel is starting to mature in cat years, he’s still quite playful. He enjoys wand toys, catnip toys, balls and sometimes he even gets the zoomies … Always maintaining his dignity while doing so, of course. He's the total package and he knows it. It's Mellie's world and we're all just living in it. Rescue background: Mel’s rescuer started feeding a young female feral cat she had just TNR’d. Right away Mel started showing up at every feeding. Turns out, Mel and the little female cat were good buddies. Before long they both became residents of the rescuer’s yard. Over time the rescuer discovered Mel is very comfortable indoors. He was already ear-tipped when found, so someone else had TNR’d him, but Mel was always friendly and was clearly an inside cat at some point in his life. Are you ready to welcome Mel into your heart and home?

Story
Tiny was rescued from a park as a kitten in 2010 and has lived with me ever since. Due to a move, I unfortunately need to find a good home for him. He’s shy at first but warms up. He’s very good with his litter box and requires very little other than occasional petting. He’s scared of dogs but does well with other cats.

DELIGHTS IN HOOMAN COMPANIONSHIP  DOB 6/1/23 Hey there, everyone! I’m Eclair, an affectionate, cuddly, and charismatic flame-point Siamese mix gal who, just like my French pastry namesake, is filled with creamy sweetness on the inside and frosted with beauty on the outside. My favorite pastime is being showered with gentle strokes from Foster Meowmy as I melt into a puddle of contentment under her touch. When I’m not in her lap soaking up her loving, I’m her loyal shadow as I follow her around, faithful friend that I am. I was born in a noisy, bustling machine shop that services 18-wheelers, yet I managed to be resilient and adaptable. Thank heavens Foster Meowmy rescued me to the comfort of my foster home, which I share with a few friendly resident kitties. I was a little shy at first, but it didn’t take me long to get my bearings, warm up, and let my charming personality shine. As I learned the softer and finer side of life, one gentle pet and cuddle at a time, I transformed into a snuggler who delights in hooman companionship. I know that my endearing personality and stunning appearance have stolen Foster Meowmy’s heart, but she insists that I deserve a home of my own where I’ll have less competition for my hooman’s attention from other kitties. If you’re looking for a treasure-trove of feline love as well as charm, then I’m the gal for you! Arrange to meet me today! Bright days are ahead for both of us! HOPE ID 23-0909-A045 If you are interested in Eclair and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
