Bonjour! My name is Fifi and I'm a 5 year old, fully vetted Siamese lynx point kitty. I LOVE the company of other cats, so if you have a kitty that needs a buddy, I'm your girl! In fact, I'm really looking for a home with another friendly feline or two. I also love watching all the goings on outside through my perch at the window. Birds, squirrels, raccoons, I love watching them play and run. I do have a little bit of vision impairment, so I'm a little shy at first, but once I trust you I will find you and ask for all the pets I can get! I have been used to a smaller space so when you take me home I'd like to start out in a smaller area until i feel comfortable enough to explore on my own. A comfy bed and a window perch are my 2 favorite things. I'm not quite as high maintenance as my name would imply. LOL! I'm a sweet girl that deserves a second chance at a good life.

TICKED TABBY COAT MIMICS EXOTIC AFRICAN WILDCAT  DOB 3/15/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Jules, a sweet, gentle, and playful Abyssinian mix fella whose unique “ticked” tabby coat mimics the exotic appearance of an African Wildcat. When I was about six weeks old, a Good Samaritan found me hiding in the engine of a car with no momma or siblings in sight. Since Foster Meowmy had taken another rescued kitten off this Samaritan’s hands about a year ago, she turned again to Meowmy for help in finding a great family to adopt me. Thank heavens Meowmy agreed to bring me to the safe haven of her home. When I first arrived, I was understandably a little overwhelmed to go from cowering in a car engine to being in a foster home that was bustling with the activity of kids, foster kittens, as well as resident dogs and cats. Fortunately, Foster Meowmy understood my initial shyness and that it would take time and patience for me to open up. She encouraged me with yummy treats as well as interactive play with wand toys and the red laser dot, and --voilà! -- I transformed into a fella who now loves belly rubs! Every day Mabel and Usher, two foster kittens who are about my age, and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle until we’re exhausted and collapse in a kitten puddle. The resident adult cats have been my surrogate aunts and uncles who have shown me all the manners that Momma would've taught me if she'd been around. Captain Graysons Journey to a Second Chance Captain Grayson was found in a womans yard, suffering from a severe eye injury. She reached out to E Rescue Houston for help, and we stepped in right away to give him the care he desperately needed. With the incredible support of our community, we were able to get Grayson to a veterinarian where his injured eye was safely removed. His recovery wasnt without challenges—he developed an infection and needed additional medical care—but this brave boy continued to fight and made a full recovery. Today, Captain Grayson is healthy, happy, and ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. He is a friendly boy who gets along wonderfully with other cats and even the resident dog in his foster home. Grayson is a social cat who truly needs a feline companion. He will not do well as an only cat, so his forever home must have another friendly cat to keep him company. He is currently living with his sister, Gretta, who is also looking for her forever home. While they do not have to be adopted together, we would love for them both to find families where they can continue to be loved and cherished. After everything Grayson has overcome, he is ready for the next chapter of his life—a safe, loving home where he will never have to worry again.
