Meet Maggie! Maggie was surrendered to our rescue when her owner could no longer afford to care for her. Maggie is a little overweight but it's nothing that managing her food and going for walks won't fix. She is a bit of a door dasher so you will need to be able to prevent her from getting out. She is a little shy but will warm up. She has had a lot of changes over the last week. She was with her previous owner for 7 years and has no idea what is happening. She LOVES her foster! She spends as much time as she can snuggled next to her. She was groomed and they had nothing but great things to say about her. Maggie had a dental and lost 15 teeth! Once her mouth heals she will feel so much better! She walks on a leash but needs more practice. Maggie is spayed neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative. Maggie is approximately 8 years old and weighs 20 pounds. She should weigh around 15 pounds. True to her breed, she’s bursting with energy and will need a home that can keep up with her lively spirit—preferably one with a doggie friend or an active human who loves long walks and outdoor adventures. A secure yard is a must for this tiny explorer! Jo-Zee’s puppy curiosity means everything goes in her mouth—she’s still figuring out the difference between chew toys and paper or plastic (thankfully, shoes and socks are still safe… for now!). She zips through life at full speed, often turning your living room into her personal racetrack. But when the day winds down, Jo-Zee transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug, curling up in the crook of your arm or snoozing happily on your shoulder. Jo-Zee is the canine version of a toddler—she’ll keep you on your toes all day, and just when you think she’s worn you out, she’ll melt your heart with her affectionate snuggles. Meet Fievel, an irresistibly charming unique brindle chihuahua mix, who might just have a hint of mouse in him with those oversized ears! This pint-sized pup is bursting with playful energy and thrives in the company of other lively dogs. Rescued from a difficult situation where he was fearful and hesitant to be touched, Feivel has made remarkable progress in his foster home. His foster family allowed him to acclimate at his own pace, and while he initially kept his distance from humans, he soon began to trust. Now, he showers them with affection, offering kisses, cuddles, and enjoying those delightful booty rubs and ear scratches. Although he’s still wary of being picked up, and sometimes quickly ends cuddle sessions if he gets spooked, we believe that with time and love, he will overcome all of his fear. Fievel is looking for that one-of-a-kind compassionate family with big hearts, plenty of patience, and well-adjusted furry siblings to help him continue his journey. With his adorable puppy antics, ferocious play growls, and a beagle-like bay that’s definitely chihuahua-pitched, he is sure to bring joy and laughter to his lucky family. Bohlen is a very handsome Chihuahua mix. If you are looking for a playful and loyal companion, he is the perfect boy for you! He is very smart and curious about the world around him. He would be the perfect companion for someone who is able to give him the time and attention he needs as he continues to grow. While he’s an indoor dog, he also needs a home with a safely fenced yard to run and play in with his family. He is not suited for apartment/condo/mobile home/town home living. If there are children in the home, it’s preferable that they’re over the age of 7 years as they have impulse control. Bohlen's adoption fee is $400.
