Jayde became a mama very young and is now wanting to have some fun with a loving family. She is a chihuahua mix, approx 1.5 years old and weighs only 10 lbs. Boy can she jump! She loves to jump right into your lap for cuddles and will steal your favorite couch spot as soon as you get up. :) She loves to play with her dog friends and show her spunkiness with them. Jayde gets along very well with her other relatives named Rizzo, Dale, Gus and Curly, also with Valley Dogs Rescue. If you are open to two dogs, this bunch is so entertaining! She can be shy and unsure when she first meets you but she quickly warms up. Being in a home with another small dog would be a lot of fun for her but it's not a must. Rizzo is a 6 month old rat terrier/chihuahua mix, approx 6 months old weighing 12 lbs. She is a tall beauty with fun puppy energy. She loves playing with other dogs , especially her dog friends Jayde, Dale, Gus and Curly, also with Valley Dogs Rescue. If you are open to two dogs, this bunch is so entertaining! Little Miss Sophie was found starving in the streets of Mexico. She was brought to Arizona in an attempt to find a home. Meet Rogue! This speed demon was spotted in a park for over a week. Attempts to catch him were almost impossible until a trap was set. Rogue was trapped within a few hours and proved to be the sweetest boy ever. He was scared at first and took off from us each time we tried to catch him while he was in survival mode. Rogue is now thriving in his foster home with dogs of all sizes. Rogue like to play with a ball and do the zoomies around the kitchen island. He even plays tag with the other dogs. He would do best with an active family who will play with him, take him for walks/runs, and overall smoother him with love. Rogue is a lap dog who loves attention and would be an amazing companion. I am a BIG snuggler and would love to sleep on your bed with you! My favorite thing in the world is a good neck scratch just under my collar. I do like to go for walks and I'm told I have excellent leash manners. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, we'll be best friends, so please give me some time to get comfortable in my new home. I will do best in an adults-only home for my quality of life. Ralph is an 8-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with a big personality! Nothing makes Ralph happier than to cuddle up with his human on the couch. When he isn't napping, he will follow you around the house like a little puppy. To Ralph, being with his person 24/7 is what life’s all about. Ralph previously lived with other dogs his size and he currently lives with a very sweet Shih Tzu and cat. Although Ralph can be a bit jealous and may not like every dog or cat he meets, it is possible that he can happily co-habitate with other pets. He will have to meet all pets living in the household to make sure everyone gets along. Ralph has had a complete senior medical workup and had dental work which removed the last of his 3 remaining teeth. He eats wet food but can eat a little dry kibble. His foster mom reports that he is a very messy eater and will pull his food out of his dish. What Ralph lacks in table manners he more than makes up for in charm. And did we mention that Ralph is a heartworm survivor? He successfully completed heartworm treatment and tested negative for heartworms in January, 2024. We do recommend that his adopter keep up with heartworm preventatives and do annual heartworm testing to keep him healthy. With all our rescues, Ralph has been fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has gone through our Senior Animal Wellness Program which provides a more thorough exam due to his senior status. He has additionally been tested for tick fever, had a urinalysis and x-rays. Medical records will be provided upon adoption.
