Health Condition Neutered. Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm and dental scaling completed. Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. The upper canine has been extracted during dental scaling.2.) Rescue Story Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him.3.) Basic Information With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. Doesn’t show interest towards people he meets on walks. Shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by familiar people. With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats but he may bark if they approach him suddenly. Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. Relies on outdoor potty breaks, so she will need to be taken out regularly to do her business. Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro.Once a bond of trust is established, she is quite cooperative and allows her nails to be trimmed without much trouble. Walks: When excited, he tries to run. But most of the time, he matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. Occasionally shows defensive nipping toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. Has some resource guarding (possessiveness over objects) and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. At home, he rarely barks except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a person or a cat approaches him suddenly. Likes walking, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. Is extremely affectionate and deeply attached to those he recognizes as his guardians. Is uncomfortable with sudden touch. Thanks to consistent desensitization training, he improves a lot. Enough time and training are necessary before appropriate trust building. Is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycle. Is wary of strangers coming into the house. Has excellent recall (comes immediately when called). Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.' Is a true angel—a "Giving Tree" in dog form! Once she trusts you, he gives his whole heart. Even when faced with things he dislikes, he patiently endures them for his person, expressing his deep affection with his pure, clear eyes.

This is DOMINO! He’s about 13 months old and 40 pounds as of February 10, 2025. HE IS IN NY & IS READY FOR A MEET & GREET! Domino was named after his adorable markings - like a domino! He’s mostly spotted black and white but there are a few brown markings too. We aren’t sure on his breed but we do know he’s the perfect size for most. Not too big and not too small. ***please note we are updating pics! Some of these are when he was a wee pup, but we promise he’s just as cute now! Domino is incredibly sweet! He was great with his photo session, and quite calm. He enjoyed being held like a baby after the session and we think he even liked his bath! He’s good with other dogs and he’s good with the cats in the foster’s home. Hattie is a 5-year-old, 10-pound female Purebred Toy Fox Terrier living in New York City. She’s a bright, spirited, and deeply charming little dog with a curious mind and a sensitive side. Still finding her footing in the hustle of the city, Hattie feels most at ease in quieter neighborhoods where she can truly relax and take in her surroundings. She loves enrichment games like “Search,” where she hunts for hidden treats around the house, and enjoys long, sniff-filled walks through grassy or wooded areas. A natural hunter at heart, she also delights in squirrel-watching (and chasing on a long-line leash, of course). In her foster home, Hattie has proven to be reliably house-trained and eager to learn. She’s currently working on her loose-leash walking and is making great progress, responding well to gentle resets and a slower pace when she gets distracted. She’s incredibly attentive and tuned in, often making it feel like she’s the one leading the training. Hattie is comfortable staying home alone in a puppy pen and is typically found curled up in her bed when her fosters return. She also enjoys her crate as a cozy retreat, especially when she has the freedom to come and go, and is gradually building comfort with the door closed. A quiet observer, Hattie loves bird-watching from the balcony and may hop into your lap for a better view. While she can be a bit shy with touch at first, giving her the space to set the pace has helped her blossom, she’s now starting to seek out gentle affection (though she might insist it’s just about adjusting her harness). Hattie is looking for a calm, patient home that understands her need for structure, enrichment, and personal space. With a solid 45–60 minute morning walk, she settles into a peaceful rhythm and happily naps for most of the day. Her ideal adopter will be someone who advocates for her, respects her boundaries, and continues to build her confidence at her own pace. Hattie would do best in an adult-only home and prefers to be the only pet, where she can truly shine. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, spayed and microchipped.
