NAME: O Henry
Male, 15 weeks
BREED: Chihuahua mix

LIKES: Running around and playing with the other puppies in his foster home
DISLIKES: When people move quickly around him
PERSONALITY TRAITS: O HENRY is timid and guarded and will need a home that is willing to give him time to relax and know he is safe. He will watch your every move but once you gain his trust he will cuddle up on the couch and soak up all your loves. He is great with kids and dogs in his foster home.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Work in progress. Uses potty pads well and goes outside in enclosed area.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: He is used to being in an Xpen with his sibling during the day when home alone, and at night. He sleeps through the night.
EXTRAS/MISC.: O HENRY is very sweet, and with patience and a loving hand he will make a great addition to your family.

Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with information about the next steps and setting up a Meet and Greet. Our process is not a “first come, first served” process. Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants to find the best fit for each adoptable dog and potential family. Filling out an application in no way guarantees you a dog or a response email as we get hundreds of applications and choose the best home for the dog.
Distemper/Parvo boosters, and rabies shot, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery are included with the adoption fee. You will also receive a PetSmart puppy packet with hundreds of dollars of savings, a FREE bag of food, 30 minute private training session with a certified dog trainer, and a free checkup at Banfield.
Potential adopters must live within 30 miles of Eugene, Oregon. If you live outside the 30 mile radius, still send us an email, as we will can make exceptions if the circumstances are optimal for the dog or puppy.
