Stray Bae is an absolute sweetheart. Though she had a stressful start before coming to us, this resilient 2-year-old immediately showed her true colors as a deeply affectionate companion. What Makes Bae So Special: A True People-Dog: While she gets along perfectly fine with other pets in the home, her true passion is her humans. She will always choose snuggling up with a person over anything else. Enthusiastic Greeter: She is always thrilled to see you! To show her love, she will leap right up and stand on her hind legs just to get her face as close to yours as possible. Agile Acrobat: Don't let her small size fool you—she is incredibly nimble and loves to parkour around the house. Your Personal Shadow: Watch out! She loves to be right where the action is, which includes a quirky, playful habit of darting right in front of your feet as you walk to guide the way! The Ideal Home: Bae is looking for a loving family who can give her the attention and cuddles she craves. She's a truly special dog who just needs a consistent person to flourish.

Meet Sara! We actually call her Sister Sara… when she was a little puppy, her markings on her face made it look like she had a perfect cross right between her eyes and down her nose. Sara is up for adoption because her 92-year old human momma recently passed away. Sara is 8 years old and weighs just under 8 pounds. She’s super shy at first but once she warms up to you, she’s all play and cuddles. She has some typical chihuahua traits of shaking and barking when she’s scared and can be a bit nippy if her boundaries aren’t respected. That’s why we don’t recommend her for a home with small /young children. She would thrive in a more active home, with or without another doggie. She has lived with a cat and does well with that. She is spayed and current on all her vaccines, as well as flea & tick and heart worm prevention.
