Daisy is an absolute delight! This petite, snuggly girl has such a sweet and gentle personality. She loves humans & she enjoys being held like a little baby. She was rescued from a South Texas shelter with her mom. Both girls are thriving in foster home. Daisy currently living with two dogs in her foster home. She loves to play and gets along with everyone, including children! She makes friends wherever she goes: at the park, trivia night, or the pet store. Daisy is 23 lbs, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate quietly all night. She is nearly fully potty-trained and walks great on leash. She is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment (this is noncontagious to humans or others pets). Because of this, Daisy is only available for adoption in the Austin area, as she needs to be close to her vet in Leander. If she is adopted during treatment, our rescue pays for the full cost of heartworm treatment. **Courtesy Post**Flynn is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement/networking. All inquiries should be directed to Flynn’s owner at dlscava17@gmail.com ** Flynn in Hallettsville (San Antonio/Austin area), Texas: Flynn is a one and a half year old Jack Russel-mix who weighs 28 lbs. He is playful, silly, full of energy and loves walking-hiking-and being outdoors. He is active and wants to be your adventure buddy and go everywhere with you. He is highly adaptable to new people and new places. He enjoys taking a good long walk the first part of the day. He tends to take midday naps indoors. He is in rest mode after dinner from 6:30pm till his 8:30 bedtime and this is when he cuddles on the couch. He also loves a kiddie pool, swimming and going into lakes/rivers- he loves water! He thrives at doggie daycare and dog parks and is exceptional with play with other dogs. Flynn needs a home with a large fenced backyard space (this is a MUST). He currently lives with a senior dog and could live with another dog well. He would do best with older children as he is still learning not to be mouthy during play. No cats (he likes to chase them). He is house-trained and knows basic commands (sit, stay, wait, all done, come). He is crate trained. He sleeps through the night 12 hours. He loves mental stimulation like training and enjoys puzzle toys/busy toys filled with some kibble. He sleeps with a plush toy and finds comfort in having a plushie in the car as well. Flynn has come from a hard past prior to us (dog hoarder & confinement (chained/locked up)) and does struggle living indoors/inside a house due to this background. He is currently working with a trainer to minimize indoor anxiety. (**We will gift his new adopter two sessions with our trainer to ensure he gets the support he needs settling into your new home) Up to date on all shots, neutered, microchipped. He is on anxiety/calming meds for being indoors. He also gets an allergy shot every 3 months due to environmental allergies that make him very itchy. **He will come with all of his belongings: crate, bed, crate cover, toys (puzzle/busy and plush), chews/licks (non edible and lick pads/kongs), car barrier and 1 month food. Willing to travel anywhere reasonable to meet you to ensure this boy gets the best home possible. He is being rehomed due to the owner's personal health decline and unable to keep up with his active needs. Flynn is located in Hallettsville, Texas (East of San Antonio/SouthEast of Austin). There is a small rehoming fee. If you are interested you can complete an adoption application at www.RussellRescue.com Flynn is not a Russell Rescue dog. Good with dogs,
Story
We just can't say no to a gorgeous, very good boy in need, and when it's a dynamic duo of real dog legginess needing saving, then we are doubly inclined to step in.A bulldog rescue we are, and these boys are nothing if not the most honorary bulldogs, because we here feel like sometimes 'bulldog' is just a state of mind. Skippy and his best pal Locke are the dogs that anyone has been looking for to show off about town and amaze their friends and strangers alike with the perfection of their pets.Silly, snuggly, snuffly, and sweet; equal parts active and adorable, we can't get enough of these bois.True to breed and to form, little Skippy is the more feisty of the two. He's got a little spice to him and is happy to mess with his big brother to entertain himself. He's your typical big dog in a small body, so he will be sure to keep his lucky humans on their toes with his antics. Skippy and his brother were once 100% part of a family. They are both 'risiculously' potty trained and have the best house manners. They are practically perfect and are the ideal duo of real dogs that a bit of a more active family might be looking for.   To see more of our dogs, please go to https://austinbulldogrescue.com to see who is available and to learn how to get involved with ABR.
