Story
Meet Zoro, our adorable 4.5-month-old bundle of joy, ready to steal your heart! This little furball is a Rat/Fox Terrier mix, weighing in at a charming 19 pounds. Rescued along with five of his siblings, they all needed a bit of tender loving care, including baths and some extra attention to patches of missing fur on their feet. It's been heartwarming to see Zoro, alongside his brothers and sisters, blossom from scared little souls into playful, energetic companions. Our furry friend is the largest of his litter of seven but happens to be the most reserved. Despite his initial shyness, Zoro has proven to be a quick learner, finding comfort and joy in running and playing with everyone around. Don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of his unique black spot on his back, near his adorable tail - it looks just like an elephant's head, complete with the trunk. It's the kind of cuteness that's impossible to resist! Zoro is still on the journey to becoming fully house-trained, but the progress has been remarkable. He's already crate trained, ensuring a safe and cozy space for him to rest. His size is just right for families with dogs ranging from 24 to 60 pounds, although he can be a bit cautious around larger furry friends. But fear not - he's a runner with boundless energy, always ready to play and burn off that exuberance. Our pup Zoro is a mixture of independence and affection. He craves love but on his terms. Approach him with patience and kindness, and you'll witness the transformation from a skittish soul to a warm and loving companion. Zoro is good with kids of all ages, making him a fantastic addition to any family. Help Zoro find a forever home where he can continue to learn about love, trust, and the joys of a safe, happy place. Story
Sally and her friend were witnessed being abandoned along a small country road and she was so happy to be rescued. Sally is a very loving little dog with a beautiful spring in her step. She can be a little unsure of new people, but her love of food will overcome her shyness every time, and five cookies later, she's a friend for life. Sally is very easy to leash walk and loves to trot along the trails but never minds going back to her kennel.

Story
Meet Tony, a delightful dog whose main mission in life is to find ways to convince you to rub his belly. Despite being a youthful 10 years old, Tony still has plenty of spunk and energy, although it is now balanced with a calmness that comes with maturity. He makes an excellent walking companion, but he's equally skilled at being a professional couch potato, happily lounging by your side. Tony came from a sheltered background, and he is currently navigating the learning curve of the world around him. Therefore, he would thrive in a patient and laid-back family environment that can help him ease into his loving forever home. Tony is ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of belly rub requests to the lucky family that welcomes him into their lives.October 28, 2023, 1:09 pm

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We adopted Loki as a rescue in Michigan in 2017. She has been an amazing friend and companion. We adopted her when we had no children, but after having two young children, unfortunately we simply don't have the time or energy anymore to give her the love and attention that she needs. Loki is loyal, playful, completely potty trained, doesn't chew on furniture or clothes, and is VERY cuddly. She loves children and gets along with cats and other small dogs, but she sometimes gets a little edgy around larger dogs. Ideally, we're looking for someone who has the time and energy to play with Loki and take her for walks, runs, to the park, etc. Her ideal home would allow her on the furniture, as she loves to cuddle with her humans whenever possible.

Story
Meet Leo, a charismatic and energetic companion who is ready to light up your life! This intelligent pup thrives on stimulation and enjoys a good mental challenge, especially when it comes to puzzle toys and treat-stuffed Kongs. He's always up for an adventure, making him the perfect running partner or companion for outdoor activities. Leo's charming personality shines through in his unique ways of seeking affection. He'll nudge and flip to ask for belly rubs, and he might even give you a friendly paw or rest one on your shoulder to let you know he's craving some scratches. His one floppy ear perfectly complements his goofy and endearing nature. He has also demonstrated a desire to learn and respond well to training. With a patient and dedicated owner, he has the potential to become an even more well-rounded companion. He would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention, and where his intelligent mind can be engaged with interactive toys and mental challenges. Leo's love for outdoor adventures is matched only by his desire to be close to you, whether it's cuddling on the couch or going on long walks. He's a loyal companion who's always eager to join in on the fun, making him a wonderful addition to an active and loving family. If you're ready to embark on new adventures and share your life with a smart, playful, and affectionate friend, Leo could be the perfect match for you. Embrace this intelligent pup, and get ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments!

Story
**Courtesy Post** Lola is a beautiful 2 year old girl who needs some room to run. We want her to have a big backyard where she can really stretch out. She is the type of little dog that is happiest when she is running and playing and chasing things and she even likes to go fishing. She also loves to be loved on and snuggle, but only after she has had plenty of exercise. Lola loves to be the center of attention and needs to be an only dog in her new home. Lola will require a home with no cats, no little critters like lizards, etc. Her vaccinations are done and she is spayed and well housetrained. She weighs only 13 pounds. Her house manners are very good. Lola likes to do whatever her owner does. She gets along well with people and is very friendly. In order to adopt Lola you need to have a securely fenced yard and a good vet reference. No short chain link fence, no electronic fencing, no wrought iron. A home visit will be made to examine your fence prior to adoption. There is a small rehoming fee. Her adopter must be able to drive to the Austin, Texas area to get her. If you are interested in adopting Lola, please contact her owner at jesschavez103@gmail.com and they will send you an adoption application.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
**Courtesy Post** Say hello to Wheezy! She was found as a stray. She has been to the vet twice. She has no micro chip, but is spayed. She is up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick medicine. She is heartworm negative. X rays were negative for anything in her throat/chest as she wheezes. She is on medication due to a thin trachea. She may need to be on this medication long term. She is very chill and mostly likes to lay right next to a person. She will do okay with kids over 12. She hasn't been around other dogs, so I am not sure if she is friendly with them. Would probably be fine with a little male. She really is just the sweetest thing. I think she would do well with someone that is home often as she loves to be around a person. She is about 8 years old according to both vets that saw her. Wheezy needs a securely fenced yard. She likes to snoop around outside. Her favorite thing is to just be with her person. Chilling on the couch, having a nap, taking a walk, doing whatever you want to do. If you are interested contact her owner and they will send you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee. Wheezy’s adopter must be able to drive to the Austin, Texas area to get her. Contact: Bryndaf@yahoo.com
