History and A Note From the Foster: This beautiful momma and her 2 puppies are ready to find families of their own. They have truly brought an immense amount of joy to our rescue family these past couple of months. Angel arrived to rescue from a breeding background. She was pregnant. She delivered her 2 pups and has been devoted to them unwaveringly. Angel has had her fair share of sadness prior to rescue but has an unwavering love for her 2 puppies. She protects them and loves them. She takes impeccable care of them. She has nursed them, taught them, and loved them. All as their foster family watches in awe. Her puppies are 2 of the truly most amazing puppies we have had the chance to watch be born in rescue, grow into little hooligans, and be ready to find families of their own. Posting them is exciting, we know. It also is a little sad. We will miss them when they move onto their next chapter. We will always love them. That is what fostering is though...it is a testament to love and care of others. If we kept them all, we could not help the next momma. Here is what you need to know: Angel is a quiet angel. She was a protective momma, devoted to her pups, but overall an easy keeper. She will go potty when put outside. She has not had an accident in a long time. However, routine and communication is key. She spent years as a mill momma...so having structure and positive reinforcement is crucial to setting her up for success. She has done well in the presence of children but would do best in a quieter household. She has done well around other dogs too. Rascal (M) and Timmi (F) are special pups. Momma Angel is a mini poodle. We suspect dad was probably a Cavalier, but that is just a guess. They are sweet souls, tender hearts, and have the best playful and sweet energy. They are smart, happy, and eager to snuggle and please. They love children and wiggle their way into laps to be pet and loved on. We adore this family. We suspect the puppies will have adoption interest, but we truly hope momma Angel will too. She has done her job as a momma well and deserves more than anybody to settle into a loving home that cares solely about HER for the rest of her life.

She specializes in luxury-grade snuggles, melting into laps like a warm marshmallow that somehow purrs (but dog-style), and she’s always willing to provide light entertainment in the form of gentle tug-o-war or tiny zoomies. She starts out shy, the kind of girl who likes to size up new humans to make sure they’re worthy of her royal presence. But once she gives you the official Tiara Seal of Approval, she transforms into a puddle of soft, fuzzy affection who acts like you’ve been best friends since birth. Tiara loves kids and is delighted by other dogs, including her foster’s giant doodle friend, whom she invites to play with the confidence of someone who is absolutely unaware of her own height. At just 9 pounds, he’s shy but oh-so-sweet, learning how to trust people, play with toys, and enjoy all the perks of being a puppy. He’s happiest when he’s outside in the snow, zooming around with his foster sisters, or curled up as a couch potato in bed. Newsboy is cautious with new people and loud noises, but once he feels safe, his gentle and affectionate side shines through. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. This fee must be paid within 24 hours, or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is to place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Our foster dog Pecan sure hopes so!Pecan is a 3 year old Bichon mix who came to us after being stray for a bit. He was a bit of a matted mess but after a good grooming session, had a great glow-up! We are still working with him on his tear stains but those should also clear up.Pecan's daily goal is to be with you as much as possible. In your lap, under your feet, Pecan doesn't care, as long as you are together! Do you work remotely? Pecan would love to hang out in your office as you have a conference call (he promises to be quiet).Do you have another dog? Great! Pecan loves other dogs and is good at doing what another dog wants to do - be calm, hang out, play, he's down for anything. Do you have a cat? Great! Pecan is good at ignoring them, but he might try to play just in case they want to be friends.Do you have older kids? Cool! Pecan likes kids who have some dog experience and understand that sometimes dogs need space and peace and quiet. Do you have a beard?
