Story
We are truly heartbroken that we have to rehome this dog. We love her so much. She is a very sweet and very good dog but extremely aggressive toward other animals and she is afraid of people she does not know. We are the second owners and feel she may have been abused by previous owner. Last night she became aggressive toward our other dog and a bad fight ensued. We cannot take any further chances. She needs a home without pets. She needs a large yard that she can run in. She needs someone who can give her lots of love. She loves to play fetch and is extremely well trained, crate trained, E-collar trained. Etc. I recommend an experienced dog owner only for her. She is in good health and has all of her shots, spayed, etc.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Willard is an almost 5-year-old Walker Hound mix that weighs 52 pounds. When Willard came to Lil Rascals almost one year ago, he was paralyzed in his back legs, had infected sores and wounds, an untreated UTI, and was emaciated, weighing less than 40 lbs. His owners at the time said he had sudden onset paralysis 5 months prior, took him to UF where surgery was performed on his spine. The surgery did not help him, so his owners rightfully began taking him to rehab. But they soon abandoned rehab for him because they no longer had the time and he sadly reverted to where he was. Lil Rascals got him back into rehab right away, where he had to start all over with therapy, this time weekly. He has not only gained strength, muscle mass and mobility, but he has also gotten joy back in his life. He now has a cart which has given him mobility again. He is a sweet boy that always wants to be near his person. He loves taking naps under the desk while his foster moms work. He lets you know when he has to go out with a distinct vocal bark. He is incontinent and has accidents so he wears a belly band. His favorite thing is going outside with his “wheels!”  He can go anywhere in his wheels and loves to go on walks and even runs sometimes. He attempts to bear weight on his back legs but he can not use them to walk. Willard enjoys car rides and meeting new people. He’s been around multiple cats and both small and medium-sized dogs and gets along great with them. He’s always ready to eat and takes daily probiotics. He enjoys busy bones like yak chews and bully sticks. He currently takes medication but the vet has been decreasing those. He loves hugs and attention but is also content to lie on his bed beside you and nap. Willard needs a family who will love and spoil him but be sympathetic to his special needs. He will need to continue to attend weekly rehab therapy so he doesn’t decline, but he is definitely making progress. He needs a home without a pool or stairs, and a home where someone can be home with him most of the time. If you think you can give this special boy a special home, please complete Willard's app and tell us more about your family. May 2, 2024, 8:26 am

Story
Pure bred tree walker coonhound We adopted this dog after the previous owner hit it with a car, the vet then had to amputate its rear leg. But she does not have any handicap or need any special assistance when it comes to walking, running or climbing stairs. She does need someone who can designate a good portion of their time with her because she has separation anxiety due to her accident. But she loves kids (we have 3) c of all ages and loves other animals and is very protective of the family. She is up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm and flea meds. My wife is going back to work and we would like to find her a home to where she isn't caged up all day howling.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bob Scratchit: Your Goofy, Loving Basset Hound Mix Bob Scratchit, a 2-year-old basset hound mix weighing 50 pounds, arrived at The London Sanctuary from Bradford County animal control. Bob is a big ol' puppy at heart, and his goofy personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. In his foster home, Bob is a bundle of joy. He adores his toys, especially interactive plush hide & seek toys that challenge his curious mind. When it's time to settle down, Bob happily retreats to his soft crate, where he dreams of new adventures. Although he protests going into the crate during the day with adorable hound-like bays, he eventually settles down and enjoys his cozy space. Bob is a very curious boy, full of wonder and excitement. It's important to ensure he's in a safe space like his crate or a secure room when left alone to prevent any mischief. He doesn't have any aggression issues and is already housebroken. However, Bob is still learning obedience and manners; he loves to jump onto surfaces and explore everything within his reach. Walking on a leash is enjoyable for him, although he could use some guidance in leash manners during walks. Bob is good with other dogs but may not always understand when playtime is over for his playmates. He hasn't met any cats yet, and he's good with kids due to his passive and sweet nature. If you're looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Bob Scratchit is your guy. His ears even double as his own personal eye mask when he sleeps, adding to his unique charm! Bob is heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $300, and The London Sanctuary requires home visits to ensure the best match. Contact them at foster@thelondonsanctuary.com or find them on Facebook or Instagram to meet Bob and bring some fun chaos into your home! Story
Finn is a lovable 7 year old purebred beagle. He loves attention and is very friendly. He loves outdoor time and walks. He requires gentle discipline, time outdoors, and mental stimulation. It is not recommended he is with little kids as he gets very nervous when approached suddenly. He has never bitten but has growled. Looking for a good home that can give him the time and attention he needs. Loves playing with other dogs,
