Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. Dylan has some very significant anxiety and needs a home with no other pets and no children. She will need an experienced, patient adopter that is willing to do multiple meetings to build trust with her and able and willing to participate in training (we will provide it at no cost!). We know there has to be a special home out there for this special girl. She is housebroken, crate trained and well behaved at home with the people she knows, trusts and feels safe with. Dylan is spayed and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150 and she receives: free dog training support for life (including our fun group classes!), 30 days of health insurance through MetLife for pets and a free bath, nail trim and ear cleaning from our friends at Scenthound. Broono and his sister Avery are a bonded pair of 10 year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mixes. They are siblings/littermates who have been together in the same home for ten years. Their young owner has had them since she was only 9 years old, but tragically her mother passed away and she is unable to care for her childhood dogs on her own and has made the heartbreaking decision to have to find them a new home. They are both housebroken and crate trained. They can be shy intially with new people but warm up very quickly, especially with snacks. They love belly rubs and snackies the best. They have previously lived with another small dog and did okay, but ideally we would like to see them as the only dogs in the home to make their transition easier since transitioning two dogs who have only ever known one home is already a lot of stress. They do okay with children but because they are older and shy they would be happiest in a quieter home with only older, calm children. No kitties, please.
