Meet Chip – Your Future Best Friend Chip is an 8-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a big heart and a deep love for people. He’s an affectionate, loyal companion who enjoys being near his humans and happily keeping you company throughout the day. If there’s a ball involved, even better. Chip could play fetch for hours and is always ready for another round in the yard or at the park. Chip would do best as the only dog in the home due to his confident, dominant personality, but he gets along well with cats and is gentle and friendly with kids. He’s both crate trained and fully house trained, and he’s impressively tolerant of grooming. Baths and nail trims? Chip handles them like a seasoned professional. At eight years old, Chip has the perfect balance of maturity and playful energy. He’s past the puppy chaos but still loves to play, explore, and be part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys affection, fetch, and simply being around his people, Chip is ready to meet you.
