Are you looking for a sweet girl to share your house with? Or maybe a walking partner to keep you company? Poppet might be the girl for you. She is around 3 years old and weighing around 30#. Her breed is an unique southren mix. She is one dog that will be the talk of the neighbor hood. She enjoys going on walks. Don't let the short legs fool you, she will keep a nice brisk pace. She will stop and take in some of the smells. While at home she enjoys tossing toys around, chewing on antlers and lounging next to you on the couch. She is potty trained and goes into a kennel with a little help. She is working on stay and leave it. She is a smart girl and catches on quick. She does like going for car rides, but wants help getting in (she gets out on her own).In her foster home she has two dogs she plays with. She does let them know if she is done. No one wants to play all the time. There is also a teenager she likes to play with and follow. She is a little scare of strangers, so given a little time she will warm up. Older kids might be best for her since she can get a little growly when she wants personal space.She does love attention and will follow you around the house. She will help pick up socks, hats and other clothing that you drop on the floor.
