Scout is a 6-year-old black cat with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and an absolute love for people. She adjusts quickly to new environments and tends to take everything in stride, confidently settling into her space and making herself right at home. From the moment you walk into the room, Scout is ready to greet you. She will often start talking right away and quickly break into purrs, showing just how much she enjoys human company. She is affectionate, social, and loves being part of whatever is going on around her. Scout enjoys cuddling, playing with wand toys, and of course, treats are always a win in her book. She is a bigger girl with plenty of love to share and is happiest when she has people to interact with throughout her day. She may be able to live with other cats with a proper introduction, but she would do best in a home without dogs. Scout has no known history with children, but given her friendly and social nature, she may do well with respectful kids who enjoy an affectionate, interactive cat. Cheese is a 10 year old Maine Coon mix. True to his breed, he is a big boy with a big personality. He has a dominant personality and will likely to do best as an only cat. A home with only adults would be the best fit for him. Cheese is a very handsome boy and he knows it as he will happily pose for a photo when someone puts a camera near him. He was even featured in a cat calendar recently. Cheese came to us after his human family member recently passed away so we are just getting to know his personality. He will be going in soon for a grooming and is quite likely that he will need a lion cut due to matted fur. His new family will need to keep him brushed regularly or take him for regular groomings in order to keep his coat in good condition. Currently in his foster home he can’t be petted very much because of his matted fur being so painful but we are hoping that once he has those taken care of that he will enjoy being petted once again. Cheese enjoys playing with fuzzy mice, string toys, and a laser pointer. He will most likely greet people when they visit. He is a big lounger and has been known to fall asleep on his person when they are relaxing so he would likely sleep with you if you allow it. He can be a talker especially if he is excited about his food being prepared. Ask us today about this big beautiful boy!
