Story
Meet Ivy. She is a 4 year old Turkish Angora mix with possible Point Siamese. Big beautiful blue eyes. This kitty has not been around other cats and should be considered the only cat in the house. She was brought up with a small senior cat friendly dog who she very much liked. Ivy really needs a companion, a person if the work from home or a senior cat friendly dog or another cat friendly cat. If she is a lone for long periods of time she gets sad and lonely. She  is used to having kind teenagers giving her attention and spending time with her. Ivy has to be an indoor only cat as her front claws were removed when she was a kitten. She has never been outside.  At first she is shy and it takes her a few days to relax and enjoy her new, safe and peaceful home. She has been around calm and caring teenagers who doted on her. She is not used to a loud home, but definitely is used to gentle teenagers. She is a cat that finds her comfy and favorite places and will enjoy her own cat tree where she rests all day if given the chance.  Ivy does enjoy family and will soon be sitting next to you, watching, checking you out and possibly watching the latest Netflix series with you. We are not sure how she would do around young children as she has never experienced toddlers. So it is recommended children 8 and above. Ivy has been introduced to her foster home's cats and does not seem to be too bothered. She may do well with another friendly cat if the introduction is not forced, but on her own. Ivy's adoption fee is set at $150. If you are interested in meeting Ivy, please fill out and submit a pre-adoption application directly on our website listed below. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
We are looking for a new home for our kitty Amaya (AKA Bad Baby.) She is the most lovable cat, but our circumstances have changed so I am hoping to rehome her in a happy caring household. Amaya is almost six years old and we adopted her as a kitten. Amaya has an AMAZING personality. She is the sweetest, softest cat I have ever met, friendly with everyone, including children and dogs, loves a lap or shoulder, likes to play, talks a bit, and is clever/naughty in a charming way. Amaya was raised by a small child so she is very good with small children. She is pretty small, around 8 pounds. Amaya has always been an indoor cat but expresses interest in being outside some of the time. Amaya has never lived long-term with another cat, but I think she is a bit lonely since our dog died and would like a companion. Amaya is in good health, litter box trained, and has had regular vet care. She does have some sinus issues so she has bouts of sneezing. The vet determined the sneezing is just something that happens, but I think she would possibly do best in a house with hardwood floors/no carpet to help with her sinuses.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Salty is a beautiful cat with a sweet mellow personality--always seeking a nice lap to snuggle on. Salty will need a quiet home and a person(s) who will pay a lot of attention to him and understand his quirk--he is deaf and will adjust to his new home with someone who is willing to give him a little time to settle in. He seems OK with other cats particularly females. Salty was abandoned and subsequently starved and attacked by other cats. If startled he gets scared and will hiss but once his humans become his "food angels" he becomes friendly very quickly and wants to be with you. His new humans will have to be on his side with food and stroking. He's a wonderful boy and will be a wonderful companion to just the right home with compassion and understanding. Salty is fixed and vaccinated and will be micro chipped before going to his new home. There is a small adoption fee. For more information or to meet him, text/call 503-586-6176.

Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, I'm the petite gentleman Skye! I have the cutest little ears. I'm a ball of fluffy love.I'm an especially sweet guy with some special needs. I have seizures sometimes which are quite scary for me and anyone watching. When I have a seizure I might fall off my cat tree and rarely I lose control of my bladder when I have a seizure. I'm on medication for the seizures which seems to be helping. My seizures are more under control that when I first came here and I have them about once a month now. The seizures last about 30 seconds to a minute and there isn't much to be done except make sure I don't fall off something. I also have a history of having urinary crystals so I need to stay on a prescription urinary food for life. That prevents the crystals from forming. I also have a sensitive stomach so there is one type of food that helps both the crystals and my tummy issues. I like to greet people and will give a little head boop to your leg when I am looking for attention. I'm quite mellow as my medication makes me a little sedate to prevent seizures.Likes: I love to be social with people. I also love to play! I'm a mellow boy who just loves love.Dislikes: I don't seem to really like other cats. I might be able to hang out with them but I have tried to bully one cat in the shelter before.Looking For: An adopter who is willing to work with my seizures and other special needs. My estimated birthdate is 4/21/2021.

Story
Hi I'm Bingley, or Mr Bingley. I'm a superstar and just a lovey cat. I need to go home with my brother, Darcy. We love each other and snuggle often. We lost our home due to some chaos in the home with a disabled child stressing us out. We are relaxed, playful, and gentle cats! I have a cloudy eye which is from corneal adema. It's not a problem for me but might mean I have poorer vision in that eye. The people here call it my 'witch eye' and I predict with my psychic powers that you will fall in love with us if you meet us!Both my brother and I love to snuggle up in and under blankets. We are pretty quiet and we are very well-mannered.My birthdate is 5/27/2021.

Story
This is Obi! A sweet older boy who's got so much love and life left to give. He is believed to be around 11 years old, however he doesn't look it or act like it. He's sprightly kitty who loves to hunt toys and cuddle into a lap at the end of the night. Obi loves cardboard scratchers, treats of all kinds, playing with string toys and catnip mice! He is a very adaptive cat and can live with dogs and loves living and playing with other cats. Obi does have some gingivitis and is needing a dental cleaning and he also has pancreatitis which can upset his tummy but medication occasionally can help and a lower fat diet. He can also be mischievous when it comes to food and will try to steal your dinner if you look away, a testament to his orange cat behavior. Obi is a genuinely sweet and gentle kitty that deserves a good home and warm lap. I want to find him someone that can fully love him for his orange cat behavior and be there as he ages. This golden boy deserves a golden home!
