Story
DOB 11/1/25 Meet Bellatrix! 🖤 Bellatrix is a cute but shy girl who prefers her space to be respected. While she may not be the cuddly, lap-cat type, she has plenty of personality and keeps life interesting! You'll often find her sneaking into the kitchen behind you, exploring her surroundings, or entertaining herself with playtime at all hours of the day. Her favorite toys are anything with strings, and she never says no to a tasty treat of canned tuna. Bellatrix is looking for a patient home that will appreciate her independent nature and allow her to settle in at her own pace. In return, you'll gain a charming companion with a playful spirit and a unique personality all her own. PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
DOB 3/19/26 This beautiful boy has come a long way, starting out as a hissy scaredy cat, and now will crawl onto a lap with a big purr. He is still a bit wary at times, but is getting more confident every day. Tuxy’s bright eyes don’t miss much, and he seems to know how striking he looks because he likes to pose. His fur is super soft and he has the cutest white paws ever! Tuxy and his sister, Mousie, are a great chase and tumble team, and usually leave no toy unscathed.
