Story
DOB 08-15-25 Monkey is a handsome little black and white, medium-haired Maine coon mix, He is bonded to his not-so-identical quintuplet, Chantilly. Monkey gets his name because he frequently acts like a money, zooming back and forth, whipping his head about, whirling and stopping and starting. He is a low maintenance little gentleman, keeping himself occupied and does not demand much from his human. Although far from clingy, he will let it be known when he wants attention and pets by crawling up next to you or climbing in your lap. He purrs easily, especially when it’s mealtime and he’s trying to beguile you into feeding him. He may mature into a fairly large cat because of his Maine coon blood and because he is already large for his age. He plays very well with others, but is more independent and adventuresome than most. He loves to explore and is full of curiosity. Although he has no experience with dogs, he is young enough and mellow enough to accept them easily. Monkey is gentle and sweet-natured, with no bad habits. He is neutered, and is up to date on her immunizations and boosters, defleaing, and worming. He is also microchipped. All he needs now is his forever home with his sister Chantilly. Adoption Information To ensure safe and successful placements, we require: * A completed adoption application * A home visit 👉 **Apply here:** https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat **Important:** We personally deliver kitties to their new homes. Story
Dob 08/2025 Chantilly is a medium-haired Maine Coon Tabby Mix. She is very regal and behaves like a duchess. She is bonded Monkey. She is very expressive with her tail, a fluffy that flume furls and unfurls in the air like a squirrel’s. Her fur is as soft as the air, and almost feels like it is not there. Chantilly has an engaging and loving nature. She particularly likes to stare into your face. She is a happy girl and will purr for more than a half hour at a time. She is content in your lap and by your side and love to brushed and snuggled and petted. Chantilly may be a fairly large girl when grown, given that she is growing fast and is fairly large for her age. She plays very nicely with others and has no bad habits. She has not been around dogs, but there is no doubt that that would adjust well to a household with other animals. This precious little girl is spayed, up to date on her shots and boosters, defleaed, dewormed, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health. Chantilly will bring a welcome light into your home with her sweet spirit and gentleness. Story
DOB 9/6/25 Wheaton is a shy little guy that is really quiet but loves to play. He sticks close to his brother Joss for company & comfort. He hasn’t had the chance to be a lap cat yet, but you can easily win his heart over with kitten treats! PLEASE READ Adoption Fees: • $100 for adults (12+ months) • $125 for kittens (under 12 months) All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines. We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets. Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home. Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized. Adoption Requirements To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require: • A completed adoption application • A home visit Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Story
Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair. DOB 6/22/25 Mage is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Purrs a lot and likes being on laps. Playful and energetic. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
