Turkish Angora kittens & cats in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania

This handsome boy came to us along with his buddies Uno and Dos in January 2024 and is looking for a quiet home to call his own. Olaf is one of our more skittish kittens at this time but we know with the right amount of patience and time, he will blossom into a wonderful cat! We do believe Olaf would do best in a home with another cat to keep him company and help boost his confidence. Olaf is a lot of talk when it comes to him being surprised and will do little hisses until he realizes that you are not going to hurt him. He likes gentle, slow pets and does not mind being picked up as long as it is on his own terms. A quiet home with not a lot of activity would be the best fit for Olaf until he learns that the world is not as scary as he thought! He is slowly starting to show little bits of his personality here with us and staff and volunteers can occasional catch him tussling with one of his siblings or playing with toys. Meet Christopher! This talkative boy came to us as a stray in April 2024 and is ready to find his forever home! Do not let that sometimes grumpy looking face fool you, Christopher is all about getting attention and loves to have visitors. This fluffy boy would love to find a home that can provide him plenty of comfy spots to curl up for a nap and plenty of windows to watch the world go by. He is relatively new to AHS and our adoption floor so we are still learning all of his likes and dislikes and will update as we learn more about Christopher's personality! He has been a very laid back boy while in our care but is not necessarily a cuddly boy. While he loves all sorts of scratches and pets he does prefer to be picked up or held on his own terms. We have not seen Christopher extensively with other animals and would be more than happy to try him in a home with other furry friends. Christopher has liked people of all sizes! He would be fine in a home with children as long as they understand he is not always the biggest fan of being picked up.
